When was the last time ”Katie” actually responded to any of her comments? Ive been coming to her site since 2011. Back then it was a friendly place with a friendly face. She took time to respond to people’s comments and effort to explain the in’s and out’s of how the deals, coupons, etc work. Once her site grew it sure seems she changed by slapping overbearing banner ads ALL OVER the screen that prevented easy use. She changed that after awhile. Then she brought ”helpers” on board. Then attention to detail began to slip. Also during this time she became a big ‘promoter’ of items that maybe were not so great just to over sell ”kroger”. Many features that I came here for also fell by the wayside. Now you never know who is writing. You do not know if it will be up to date and sadly she makes no effort to clear up confusion many prob senior people have regarding this site having nothing to do with kroger OR responding to their questions in a friendly manner. I still come here mainly for habit but i learned years ago to THEN go to MY local krog website and check the info cause half the time it is off. My heart goes out to those struggling financially-like I am- and maybe not internet our couponing savvy and coming here for help only to be ignored. Make an effort.
I also cant help to add some of these comments really seem fake to me but I cant say for sure but they are very vague and super praising and do not speak as normal humans would speak. Bot? I dont know these days so much is suspect…

You don’t need to be so mean. There is enough of that going around. I like this site and check it every Sat, just to see what is on sale next week, so I don’t buy something and find out its on sale next week. Maybe you should make an effort to be nicer!

I shop at Freddie’s several times a week, but I find your ads confusing when it comes to digital coupons. It seems that some can be used again during the same week, but some are once and done. Can you explain the difference?
I agree, Linda. I have found the same thing, and this is confusing. Other example 5X, must buy 5, can use 5X, up to 5, etc. Today I saw a restriction on 4X gift card that said “must use Shopper Card.” Is that my loyalty card, rewards card, they use more than one verbiage to get the deals. Subsequently when I am confused, I just don’t do the deal. I know this blog is not a Kroger blog but Katie’s independent blog, but she could be a little clearer about some deals. As for Kroger, sometimes I think they do some of this stuff intentionally. Sorry, Kroger. While I’m on a rant, does anyone else have a problem with reading the register receipts??

The Kroger Krazy site has a video explaining the 5X offer. It’s very simple to understand. You are allowed to buy up to 5 items in “one transaction” at the sale price. However, say if you only buy 3 items, you cannot expect to come back later and buy the other 2 items at the sale price.

Why am I getting a list that expired on Oct 14 on the morning of Oct 15?
Jackie, my team doesn’t start working in the middle of the night. The list gets updated as soon as they can get the new coupons entered, usually before 8 am EST but sometimes it takes a bit longer. You can always go look on Kroger.com yourself if you can’t wait that long. Have a great day!
