Check out what fellow readers have to say about Coconut Oil:
Homemade body scrub. EXCELLENT
My kid is autistic–constipation
I love coconut oil. I use it in place of olive oil in a lot of things. One of my favorites is stir fry
We use it in place of butter and other oils. Its suppose to be the only oil that your body doesnt store. And its good for your metabolism. Ive been using it a little over 2 weeks and n lost a couple of lbs. too. And as a skin moisturizer
I use it for most cooking when you need oil. I also clean and moistuize my face with it
Ohhh great for an intense conditioner for your hair too!
Tanning!
We use it for cooking a lot…great alternative for many things!
Cloth diaper butts. Rash Cream
I just recently learned about the benefits of coconut oil and started using it… I use it pretty much any way I would any other oil… It is not liquid though… I whip it and mix it with Vitamin E and use it as a moisturizer too. I LOVE it.
I try to incorporate a little in my daily cooking.. Another good oil for you is Rice Bran oil… Lots of great benefits of that oil including helping in Weight Loss ironically.
Dr. Oz did a segmant on it, he suggested using it as a lip moisturizer.
Great use for excema I cook, bake and stir into warm oatmeal too.
Vitacost carries brands like Earth’s Best, Burt’s Bees, Green Sprouts, BabyGanics, Kashi and so much more! Just think, you could get $10 worth of groceries or other supplies for only $2.22. With my $10 credit (couple months ago) I purchased (3) Packs of Earth’s Best Chlorine Free Flushable Wipes for shipping costs only!! GREAT DEAL for something that’s on my shopping list anyway!!
You can also get a couple jars of natural peanut butter…prices start at $3.75 each. This is a great way to shave a little off your grocery budget this month!
I am also obsessed with this Shady Maple Farms Organic Pure Maple Syrup (found under breakfast category) for just $14.93. I have this syrup in my pantry right now and it is DELICI-FUL! 😉 so pure and yummy.
Reader Kathryn got a great deal on spices like Dill Weed and Garam Marsala, so be sure to shop around – you may find something that’s on your grocery list!

Hey there! I simply would like to offer you a huge thumbs up for
the excellent info you’ve got right here on this post. I am returning to your blog for more soon.
Sharon
My ebates only had 4% cashback and there was no free shipping (only on orders over $49). Not sure what I did wrong, but it is still a great deal ~ just not as good as I’d hoped. Thanks for sharing it!
Katarina
Sharon, did you purchase vitacost brand items? Those are the only thing generating free shipping. And as far as Ebates, I apologize…that double cash back promo ended on the 13th. I will update the post. 🙂
