I got my $ 3.00 catalina for the mac and cheese last night (1-28-15) at Kroger in Batesville,AR.
The little cups????? or the velveeta shells and cheese boxes???
I called Kroger first, and a very nice man suggested that I call the catalina company. But before we hung up he added additional points to my gas acct so that I was at 200 pts. Then I called the catalina company. He said they have had a ton of issues with this catalina but they are honoring it since all promos said it was good until 2/1/15.
I went today and the catalina did not print out. I guess they aren’t going to keep it thru 2/1.
Its already been stated they wouldn’t. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So stop trying to get the catalina. STOP asking Krogers to reimburse you as they are not going to get reimbursed by the manufacturer.

Has this catalina ended? I’m hearing that some folks didn’t get their $3 OYNO. Calling Kroger and the catalina source on Monday. I did get mine on a test, but I advise really poor folks at a food pantry on shopping ’cause the pantries can not longer handle the demands after the recent food bank cuts. I don’t want to mislead them.

I’m in Louisville, KY and tried this about 30 min ago and no Catalina. I went to the service desk and was told it expired yesterday. Found online the picture of the Catalina (thank you for posting that) and went back to the service desk and they called the manager and he told me they had received notice from corporate this morning that the offer was not to be honored and it was a mistake that it had been issued. So, I came home and called the corporate office and explained (very nicely) that I was not a happy shopper due to the fact that the Catalina has an expiration date of 02/01/15. He took my name and number, which I’m sure will amount to nothing but at least I did call and express my displeasure.
Not true. At least it wasn’t for me. If you call the Kroger corporate number 1-800-576-4377 (located on the back of your kroger card) and you have your receipt they will honor the deal. They will ask for the catalina deal, the date and time of transaction and a list of numbers located on the bottom of the receipt and will mail you the catalina. It wasn’t a mistake, it was just that they weren’t expecting the catalina to run concurrently with the mega sale.
I did this deal on Wednesday. Didn’t go yesterday. Today the shelf was completely full- but no cats. Also no cats for colgate toothbrushes. These were identical items that received a cat on Wednesday. Kroger had to have pulled it. Two totally different manufacture cats stopping at the same exact time? Probably concerned about getting reimbursed for the large number being sold. It wouldn’t be the first time ever since they pulled the $2 purex money makers a few years ago I try to get mine the first day of the sale. Unfortunately they were very low on these 🙂
I did several transactions yesterday with 5 velvetta and 1 red gold tomatoes and the catalina printed, making the tomatoes free! However this morning I tried it again and it didn’t work. 🙁 Bummer, I guess that is why there were still velvetta cups on the shelf.

OMG ! I’m so glad j went store hopping yesterday I got 132 and never cleared the shelves . I hope other people were able to stock up also . I also ended up with 3 $3.00 Catallnas . Krogers is not right pulling the deal, it’s wrong .

I did 6 transactions on the 21st here in Cincinnati, and it worked fine, paid $2.94 for 36 velveetas, 2 cake mixes, a pack of gum and a bottle of hot sauce. Went back yesterday, and they were wiped out, and the manager said that yes they stopped the Catalina, I don’t understand how they are allowed to do that, but in the end any coupon issues are “at the managers discretion “.
Catalina did not print for me this morning at my Kroger, it appears that it was pulled. =(

I went to the Kroger in WV this morning. Lots of these on the shelf but no catalina. Yesterday, a catalina was printing. I came home to thought I had the wrong expiration date for the catalina. Looks like Kroger pulled it. I do not think they should be allowed to do this!

does anyone know if the cat is still printing in Toledo,ohio? shelves of course wiped out.when I ask for a raincheck, clerk told me catalina is eliminated. corporate realized the freebie and somehow killed it. or are the cups removed from the sale?
I stopped by mine this morning as the shelves were empty yesterday, and the CAT did not print and the cashier did say they stopped on the cups also.
You cannot get a raincheck and include catalinas. It dosnt work like that. 🙂
When you buy 6 you pay 1.74 and get 3.00 Catalina, that’s a 1.26 in your pocket. And yes it would be nice if the shelves weren’t wiped out

I’m so irritated right now. I went to THREE different Krogers and the shelves were cleared at all of them. It’s only the second day of the sale. Come on people. Have some decency and save some for others.
For 1 you act like 1 person did it. If 100 people partook in the deal then you cannot get mad. Early bird gets the worm.
Worked great for me here in Georgia….but I had to go to 2 Krogers to find Velveeta. The 1st store only sold Kraft (which is also on sale) and I almost made a huge mistake.

From my experience today, it HAS to be the original shells & cheese. I bought a few 2% milk cheese shells & cheese and the catalina did not print. At the same store, I tried it again and it worked when I bought all original. BE SURE TO CHECK WHICH KIND YOU ARE BUYING!!
I did 4 transactions at my Kroger here in Angleton, TX and it worked fine! I got 20 velveeta and four 2 liter Dr. Pepper for a OOP of $3.86!
Bought over 200.00 in groceries for the month. Got the sale prices on some items, had to stop at another Kroger to get another item due to first store being out of it and the second store it was 3.29 each where it was 2.99 at first store. I received NO Catalinas at ether store. I also had both e-coupons and paper coupons. Paper coupons were refused if I had 1 e-coupon for the same item. One example is (I had 7.00 paper & 1.50 e-coupon) and asked to use paper instead of e-coupon! Seriously this threw my whole budget off. They where also out of or did not receive several of the sale items. I think I might have to start shopping Edwards Food Giant or Harps if they don’t like people trying to make ends meet. Thank You however for being such a great help and large part of my being able to get almost everything we need each month! Could not save s much each month without you!

i saw cups in store today in bin in middle of isle with special pricing noted not sure of branding but since some stores the coupon is NOT printing i’m thinking this is a mistake a double dip error and they are catching on to it!?
I understand free is free but its really annoying that people have to be greedy and clear the shelves before the end of the first day of the sale.

You don’t. Its free in theory. You pay $2.50 (or why not get six and pay $3) and you get $3 off your next purchase/visit.
What I plan to do is buy 6 pay $3 then buy 6 more using the $3 catalina then boom! 12 cups for $3. That’s .25 each.
the catalina at Kroger will roll. when you buy the second set of six and pay with the first cat, you will get another cat for$3.

What do you mean Kroger coupons always “roll”?
This means you can do the transaction once to get the $3 kroger Catalina then you can do the transaction again use the $3 catalina to pay for it and you will receive another $3.
Make sure you buy the velveeta ones. My store had the velveeta and the kraft right beside each other on the shelf and I bought 3 of each not realizing they were different things. I only got $1 Catalina when I was intending to get the $3. Still not a terrible deal but disappointed I screwed up 🙁

Yes this is in fact a .55 cent money maker no matter how you look at the deal as long as your 6th item is participating. You will be able to apply the .55 to your total.

These are not a .55 cent money maker because u have to buy 6 items I bought 6 at .49 each and paid $2.96 and got $3 back and kept rolling but u shouldn’t tell people that u will have .55 overage when u don’t know what there 6th item is
I believe she is referring to the fact of if you only buy five of this item no matter what your 6th participating item is, your profit will be .55 just for the velveeta.
Steph is correct. When you buy 5 you will make 55¢ as long as you get a 6th mega event item.

How can you find out if this should give Catalina in your area mine did not?? Should it be? What can you do?
If you purchased the required product and do not receive the Catalina then fill out the form(use link at top of this page for Catalinas) with the info. needed from your receipt and submit it. If they find you should have received the Catalina then they will mail it to you USPS. Usually takes 10 days to 2 weeks. HTH.
thats the problem with catalinas sometimes dont print ..even if is working for everybody else..machines are machines and sometimes they dont work

I went thru the Self Check in Englewood, OH and did 4 transactions of these, and they all worked. It seemed to me that they weren’t scanning when I rolled them, but the lady manually keyed them in.

I was in the Beavercreek store the other day and their catalina machines were broken so you had to know and go to customer service to get it on a giftcard. They would have to know about it though and I am not sure how they would know.
A catalina didn’t print for me in Wyoming either. I took my receipt to customer service and showed them the advertisement. I got $3 back in cash. Never hurts to try 🙂

I went through self check out, but the machine was on. I did contact catalina so I will see if they say Colorado is participating. If it is, next time I will go to customer service. I didn’t this morning because I wasn’t sure if we were included.

Not having much luck resolving. Talked with Catalina they refered me to King Soopers, King Soopers refered me to catalina. Hoping for a call back. Not holding my breath.
