I am so excited about this upcoming General Mills Catalina that I could NOT wait to let you know about it!! I also put together the deal scenarios for you based on what was in the ad, but there will for sure be more inclusions which I will of course update for you when my sale starts on Monday.
MANY of these deals use printable coupons that may or may not be here tomorrow (1st of the month reset), so I highly suggest printing your share TONIGHT. Hopefully, they will stick around though.
Ok, here is what I know so far:
- Sale runs with NEXT week’s sale cycle, so as early as Sunday for some regions. At this time I do not have an end date.
- Buy 5 participating General Mills items and receive a $5 OYNO Catalina at checkout (valid on almost anything in the store, like cash).
- Limit is 4 REWARDS per transaction, which means you can get 20 participating items each transaction.
- Kroger Catalinas almost ALWAYS roll – 99.9% of the time, but I will confirm this as soon as I test it.
Roll = turn around and use the Catalina you just earned to pay for subsequent transactions, then another Catalina prints. - Stores are allowed to set limits on how many transactions you do in one day, how many Catalinas you can redeem in one day, etc., so don’t be surprised to see that happen mid-week once they see the shelves start to empty. 😉

I did the Cheerios deal today but no Catalina …I also did the Advil one and nothing printed…..is it a sure thing cause it really ruined some of my savings!

Does anyone know if hot pockets is included in the general mills catalina?
Katarina
tcodan, NO…Hot Pockets are not part of the catalina deal.

At my Kroger in South-Central KY Chex Mix was also a participating item (although not listed in the sale ad). Sale price $2.00 ea, less $0.50 printable q (which doubles here) makes them $1.00ea before the catalina or FREE after!!!! So be on the lookout at your Kroger for this (and maybe more) unadvertised deal!

Ok all you lovely ladies – and gentlemen … I’m curious as to what your first transaction is going to be. What is going to get the best bang for your buck to get this catalina deal rolling?
Felicia
My ad dates are messed up because of Memorial Day. I live in MI and my ad says: Prices Valid Tuesday, May 28 through Sunday, June 9. So we don’t get this awesome sale. 🙁
Lisa
It states, “4 reward coupons per transaction” so does that mean that you’ll get 4 cats printing out after ONE transaction if you get 20 participating items? I have always done my catalina transaction separate because I assumed only one catalina will print. Thanks for any insight.
Katarina
Lisa, a typical Catalina is almost always limit one per transaction. This seems to be a STORE promotion and they have set the limit to 4 rewards (according to the ad), so yes…buy 20 items per transaction and you will receive (4) $5 Catalinas.

My ad for cincinnati kroger area has the totinos pizza on sale for $1. So free without any coupons. Betty crocker fruit snacks On sale for $2 and since our kroger no longer doubles coupons $0.75 after catalina and coupon and tuna/chicken/hamburger helper part of the deal and on sale for $1.50 so only $0.50 a box after catalina (even better with coupons).
Great sales!!!!!
Katarina
Thanks Rebecca…I was hoping someone would let us know the regional differences!! 🙂
Katarina
Yes Jaclyn, most stores limit you to 2 “like” printables per transaction. You may need to mix and match your items to make your qualifying 5.
jaclyn
You can only use two printables a day right? Or is it two printables per product. As in if i would get 4 boxes of the same cereal i can only use two printables?
tracy
Thanks for posting all this!
