I went to Kroger around noon today and got the one that was closeout and it worked perfect. Then I went back again in the afternoon and did the same thing except this time the CAT didn’t print for me. Maybe they changed the computer system?
Will the colgate that is free today count towards the 2 participating items?
We will have to see which products are included. If it is a normal Catalina, as long as you purchase the item it should be included. Does not matter how you pay for it, as the e-coupon comes off at the end.
Sometimes I have trouble with clearance items and Cats working. I also have trouble with close outs and e-coupons coming off. At my store, I always have to go up to CS and get the money for the e-cp. since it never works when the item has been reduced!
I was at my IL store today and there were no tags up showing what was included in the Cat deal. I am wondering if my store starts on Thurs, since we also start the new Mega-event then? I did not try any Colgate because I feared it was not started here yet.
The CAT deal has started in my store in Columbia, MO (Gerbes – Kroger store). First I tried it on the Triple Action toothpaste that was free with coupon, but the CAT did NOT spit out. I then used ALL my coupons with Colgate Total Advance that was on ‘closeout’ and it worked perfectly. With the overage I got many little free items (Mac ‘n Cheese, bread, a few pieces of fruit, etc.). I kept on rolling the CATs, and only paid pennies. Lots of fun and a lot of free stuff!! Hope your store has closeouts too, otherwise just look for a product that is below $2 or just a little above and you will do great too! 🙂
will the colgate total that is on clearance count towards the catalina deal?
Hi– any word on how many times this Catalina will generate per order? For instance if I buy 5 will I get 2 Catalinas or only 1??
Sherri, I bought some clearance toothpaste (1.38) at a Columbus Kroger and the .75 coupon did double up to the $1.38.
Hi I shopped at Morse Rd Kroger yesterday and found the total toothpaste on closeout for 1.38 and used my .75 printable coupons but didn’t double which made me worry if Columbus Kroger has stopped doubling coupons up to .99 so I called the cust svc and has no information about doubling coupon policy has changed so right now I’m afraid to shop more then found out any of the coupons won’t double so I’m gonna wait til Sunday when the catalina begins and try to use the paper coupons at other kroger to see if it’ll double or not!! I’ll be crying if the doubling policy stop because Kroger is my main store I always shop there that helps me to save money. We’ll wait and see
And isn’t our free toothpaste going to be Colgate?
