I tried to do this deal today and it wouldn’t allow it. The self checkout lady said it’s not allowing items that are a penny under the coupon value. I was so disappointed. ☹️ It’s weird because I got the free Crest toothpaste last week. But today, not even the toothpaste coupon went through. So sad.

Then I had 1 paper coupon for the pads which looked exactly like above except at bottom of receipt it says MC scanned coupon 2.00-
No tax on feminine products here, so actually a penny overage for each item!

Thanks for your post. I never knew of this movement. I learned something new today after checking into it further.
Your $2 printable coupon links to the $2 digital coupon. $2 digital coupons do not apply to $1.99 products.
With the changes a while back to receipts and such,, xthe DQ comes off first, taking it down to 99 cents. Then the B5S5 $1will not. YMMV, but that is how my stores work.
