I call them chicken rollies. Flatten chicken breast pieces and wrap around a pre-cooked sausage (I use Brown & Serve) and skewer with toothpicks. Marinate for at least 2 hours in teriyaki marinade and BBQ or cook in oven on 350 degrees until chicken is thoroughly cooked through. Sausage is already cooked but flavors the chicken from the inside. My whole family loves these and they are so easy!
I like be that I found this site!!

I love just throwing a package of meatballs with BBQ sauce in a crockpot. My secret is a teaspoon of grape jelly!
I serve these at most parties and they’re the first to go.
Chicken Bacon Wraps
1 lb of boneless chicken breast
1 lb of bacon
2/3 cup of (packed) brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder
Wooden toothpicks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Cut each bacon slice into thirds. Wrap each chicken cube with bacon and secure with a wooden pick. Stir together brown sugar and chili powder. Dredge wrapped chicken in mixture. Coat a rack and broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place chicken wrap on rack in broiler pan. Bake 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
Love the races!!! 🙂
Love all the ideas and savings
Chicken tacos are SO easy!!! Throw a 3# package of frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts and a jar of salsa in the crockpot on low for about 6 hours. Shred the chicken in a Kitchen Aid type mixer on lowest speed (Keep your eye on it because it only takes about 90 seconds). Serve with tortillas or taco shells and taco toppings. You can also use the same method to make BBQ chicken sliders by using BBQ sauce instead of salsa.
I love fun, fast and easy food!!!
Keep it simple
Love to watch the races! Make chili cheese dip with tortillas and sloppy joes!
Spinach – artichoke dip with crackers or tortilla chips!

Rotel dip in the crock pot and a Boston button in my electric pressure cooker makes a wonderful pulled pork.
Make beer cheese dip in a bread bowl. Yummo!
Have thing for everybody to do including the kids and make sure you have enough snacks for everybody. The kids always enjoy helping me make the snacks. They love the bacon wrapped water chestnuts and the turkey wrapped pickles.
I love making up the snacks and watching them disappear. We all take turns checkign up on the kids outside playing on the trampoline and we all have fun.
Never underestimate the power of the slow cooker. My personal favorite is pulled pork sandwiches. Just need a pork roast – cheaper cuts work great, bbq seasoning (aka garlic powder, salt and black pepper to taste. Cook on high for 4-6 hours. Before serving tear apart meat (or let it fall apart) add bbq sauce of choice and serve on hamburger buns.
