Kroger Closeouts (white tag) will typically be found everywhere (with price variations), which is why I post a weekly closeouts roundup but do not post the manager’s specials. Instead, feel free to brag about those finds on my Facebook Page or here in the comments.

“Hi Katie,
I know the Oreo coupon being expired was a bummer, BUT this past weekend my Kroger in Cincinnati was handing out samples of snacks along with these coupons! These coupons were even better than the Oreo ones because they can be used on any Nabisco products! I grabbed a few coupons, and some Oreos and Wheat Thins and saved a nice chunk of of change with the coupon and mega sale! I got all four things for $6.56.”

“I purchased 2 sticks of Secret Deodorant that were $3.49 when you purchased 10 items. There is a Kroger eCoupon that allows you to save $1.00 on 2 sticks and I also had a Kroger Store Coupon that was sent to me that allowed me to save $2.00 on any deodorant purchase (these could be stacked at my store). The total was $6.98 and with my two coupons it ended up being $3.98. Much to my surprise when I checked out a Catalina for $3.00 printed from P&G! $.98 for 2 sticks of Secret Deodorant was a great deal :)”

The Heinz gravy that’s in the mega sale has this coupon that you can apply to it! Just the Turkey gravy has the coupon and the coupon is in turn only for the beef and chicken gravy! I’m a newbie to Kroger shopping (waiting on the new store to open closer to me) & I have enjoyed your page!”

“Katie,
My 93 year old Mother who has trouble holding scissors with arthritic hands, showed me an easy way to clip coupons.Lay your paper flat.  Take a sharp edged ruler and line the edge up with the edge line of the coupon.  A metal ruler works great for this.  Hold the ruler down firmly with one hand and then with the other hand pull the paper up along the ruler edge tearing the paper.  Repeat this along all the edges of the coupon.
Wa-la!  This makes coupon clipping go a lot faster.”
