Here are a few deals sent in this week that you might want to check out! Thanks to all you “Kroger Krazies” for keeping my inbox and Facebook pages filled up with great Kroger deals!! Keep ‘em coming! You guys are Kroger super stars!!
SPECIAL NOTE: While you LOVE LOVE to share Manager’s Specials finds (orange & yellow stickers shown above), please keep in mind that these are STORE specific and will not be found by everyone unless you list the exact store location you found them. Kroger Closeouts (white tag) will typically be found everywhere (with price variations), which is why I post a weekly closeouts roundup but do not post the manager’s specials. Instead, feel free to brag about those finds on my Facebook Page or here in the comments.
“Just got back from my Kroger. I bought 2 boxes of ziploc quart size bags and a $2 catalina generated at checkout. I noticed that the buy 2 did include the ziploc storage containers as well.”
Thanks Amy!
“I posted a comment on your Ibotta page, but thought I would send you an email in case you wanted to get this message out to everyone. I’m new to Ibotta so it’s possible that others already know this. I would have missed out on my Flipz pretzels offer if my Kroger had not been out of stock today.
My comment:
FYI on the Ibotta expiration dates. Offers expire at 1:59 am on the day of expiration. Make sure you buy and submit before you go to bed the night BEFORE the expiration date.”
Thanks Ann!
“Hey there’s a really great coupon for $4.00 off of 2 Starbucks coffees and krogers has them on sale for $6.99 when u buy 3 bags”
Thanks Samantha!
“I just wanted to let you know about the deal that I found at my Kroger!
I found that some (but not all) of the Krogers in my area (Houston, TX) have a special running on Ester-C. In some stores, all products (even the biggest bottles that sell for almost $18.00) have been marked down to $4.30 per bottle if you have your Kroger loyalty shopper card. On top of that, they ring up as part of the buy one get one free promotion on vitamins that they are currently running. That means that you can get two $18.00 bottles of Ester-C for $4.30. On top of that, there was a $2.00 off any one Ester-C product in the 9/14 paper inserts. Almost all of the Krogers in my area allow applying a coupon to both the purchased and the free item in the B1G1 free offer. This means that after applying two $2 off coupons to a $4.30 purchase, you end up with a total cost of $0.30 for 2 Ester-C items! According to the date printed on the sale price tag at the shelf, the mark down price of $4.30 is good through 10/13/14 (I think that was the date- it’s either the 13th or the 14th- I can’t quite tell from the picture I took).
I had to go to a number of stores to find any Ester-C products because a lot of stores were sold out. I finally found a number of stores that had some stock left. Every time I went to the register, the buy one get one free offer rang up correctly, but the mark down on all products to $4.30 did not ring up properly. Thus, even though I got all the buy one get one free discounts, the price of the purchased items were ringing up at anywhere from $5.79 to almost $18.00 each! I had to ask them to check the sticker price on the shelf every time. When verified, they always honored the sticker price AND the buy one get one offer together, but I had to ask them to do so. Finally, at the last store I got wise and peeled the sticker tag off of the shelf and took it to the register with me for checkout, and then returned the sticker to the shelf after checking out so I didn’t hold up a bunch of people in line while an employee had to run around and locate the product to verify the price. If you get two $18.00 bottles of Ester-C, use your shopper card, the buy one get one free deal, and use two coupons, you’ll only pay $0.15 each, which is a savings of over 99%!!!!”
Thanks Tiamae!
