Post sponsored by POINTS REWARDS PLUS Rewards Program.
All opinions remain my own.
POINTS REWARDS PLUS is BACK at Kroger and I’m happy to let you know a bit more about the program, how to use it and what you can earn just by shopping the items including food, household and personal care items with tags in store.
You’ve seen the tags and may have gotten a printout at register with a Pin Code. If you’re wondering what to do next then you’re in the right spot!
- Go to Kroger (or any Kroger family store) and spend $30 on PARTICIPATING PRODUCTS to receive your Pin Code printout from the Catalina printer. You will only receive this once you surpass the $30 spend threshold.
- If you do not spend $30 on participating products in one single trip, you should see the spend tracking at the bottom of your receipt. You will only receive Pin Codes in increments of the $30 spending ($60, 90, 120, etc).
- Once you have your Pin Code printout in hand, head to POINTS REWARDS PLUS (click here)
- Log-in or create your POINTS REWARDS PLUS account by using your Kroger Digital ID. Your POINTS REWARDS PLUS account is automatically linked to your Kroger Loyalty ID number or account.
Once you’ve logged in, select ENTER PIN CODE and enter your Pin Code from register printout. Each Pin Code is worth 1,000 Rewards Points.
To redeem your Rewards Points for Rewards, select REDEEM POINTS. You will see some awesome prizes (like 500 Fuel Points) in the Rewards Mall from categories like grocery savings to gaming!
Rewards are valued at different numbers of Reward Points (from 1,000 up to 15,000) so you can keep purchasing participating products in store at Kroger to continue earning Pin Codes to work your way towards some of your favorite Rewards!
Once you’ve entered your Pin Codes, you can choose some Rewards (as mentioned above, like this):
Grocery coupons are automatically sent to your Kroger Loyalty ID and other redeemable items have instructions on how to receive. If you choose this, information will be sent right to your email on how to redeem. It’s really THAT easy and that fun!!
View the official Terms and Conditions of the Kroger POINTS REWARDS PLUS Program for complete participation details.

I agree nothing was explained and I thought it was only for gaming. I too threw out tons of those coupons.
Bill Lizano
I will always get the rewards information on my printed receipt but I do not know how to redeem them-any directions on the subject will help. Thank you.
Virgean Ostrand
I have asked at the store, even gone to the manager so many times asking what to do so I can redeem the points. Lets face it, being a junk food junkie should pay off, but I have thrown away more of these points coupons than I care to count! Finally someone puts out a video, which should have happened years ago. I remember staff at the store saying they don’t tell us anything. Sure would have been helpful to use these, but too late now. All those bags of cheetos and mt. dew, m&m’s etc., with no rewards. Wish I could get them back from recycling. Oh well, live a lose I guess. thanks for posting this. Would have been nice if something was posted at the stores so people could learn how to use it.

What if I don’t have the printouts from the register with my pin codes on them.
Cuckoo Bird
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I wanted to see some of the redemptions before registering, and your examples are invaluable. If $10 gift cards for 3K pts. ($90 purchases as I understand it) is the redemption rate, than that’s better than 10% cash back.
Kroger can thank you for convincing me to register, as I usually avoid all of this big data and cloud nonsense (“free” email nd servicea are never rewally “free” – I still refuse to use digital coupons and even the fact that I the basic card might get one person some deals, but their neighbors are left out in the cold or get other/better/etc. deals is un-American and disgusting!). I can live with this for a month at 10%+.
UPDATE: As per others, this site/service refuses to accept my existing Kroger # (phone or card) or to let me login and associate the two. Guess the powers that be have spared me more data sharing. I’ll pass…not worth the nonsense, let alone the data gthering.
C. Christine
I highly recommend using the digital coupons. The more you use them, Kroger will send via postal mail MORE coupons on the items you regularly purchase. Sometimes, you may have more than one coupon for the same item. The savings are generous — up to$1.75 off one item with other coupons offering 40/60/80 cents off. Combine these savings with the points for purchase and you save even more at the gas pump.
Annette Lockler
To confusing and to time consuming. I have spent 2 hours trying to make my grocery list. Please stop playing games. Stop spending money to run this website and just bring down the prices in the store.
C Christine
This site is not a Kroger site. It belongs to a lady by the name of Katie. Over the course of 3-4 yrs, I compared prices between Walmart and Kroger. Kroger was cheaper on many items (and they source locally when possible). Add the points for fuel rewards and coupon savings; Kroger turns out to be the better choice for many.
Jay
Can only redeem 2 offers per week, which is horrible considering I am trying to redeem before expiration date. I have a good sum of points that will just go down the drain because of this ridiculous cap on redeeming them.
Katie
The *fine print* stated that buuut….yeah. I was frantically trying to get all my codes in and points used. It came down to like 3 hours before they expired.
Does anyone know if this program is continuing in 2023? Heaven knows if we ever needed it we need it NOW!!! I hope they choose to continue!
C. Christine
I believe it ends July 4, 2023.
Judy
Jay we are experiencing the same thing ! It looks like we will loose 15,000 points due to their crooked ways !
Grace
Well said. Wasting hours trying to figure this out in order to save a few bucks is foolish. I quit! Let’s go back to the regular printed coupons and store shopping. No more frustrating pretending to be deals. Shame on Mr. Kroger.
Jim
Is anyone able to sign into the http://www.pointsrewardsplus.com site? Every time we attempt to sign in we get “access denied on this server” message. Very frustrating!
Rob H
I get that sometimes trying to go on the best buy site.. try deleting cookies
Jim
This program sucks! Give me fuel points or something I can use. I don’t need games. Since I’ve tried to claim these stupid points on your website for 3 days now without success, I will no longer support your store and will get the bonus deals from another chain. This is a waste of paper, time and any savings that I may have incurred because your website wont let me claim them. It just says “Access Denied” and I can’t do anything with them but keep unsuccessfully trying to get some positive result with nothing but failure and frustration.
I’m glad that the other chains in my local area don’t have scams like this one. Fred Meyer sucks! I’m shopping elsewhere from now on to get rewards we were offered and deserve. Shame on you, Kroger!
Grace
You are 100% correct. This program is nuts. Wasted hours of my time for nothing.
Sarah Smith
Hello everybody I am currently 1 pin code short. Does anyone have 1 unused pin code that they would kindly give. If so please email it to [email protected]
Kroger Tom
Anyone have an unused code? I am a few short. Thanks in advance for the code and pin number.

What was wrong with a simple fuel rewards program? My wife spent 61.05 on 12/22 received 3 coupons no pin code. One is already expired!!! Just another hoop (I will finish if you quit interfering with your d–m ads) to jump thru like your di (another ad) gital coupons that elderly consumrs without computer skills cannot even get. As I’ve told people for many many years “Everybody has a deal, just try to get it!” Ma(another ad)ybe I’m dealing with the wrong company. Meijer’s is just as close, HMM? My wife and I live a busy life, I (another ad) don’t need another hassle to get your rewards. Pardon my French but this is a.D–m bunch of B(another ad)S. Do you understand Kroger????
Grace
Kroger, please stop all this nonsense. I am surprised that anyone shops at our store with all this junk advertising. I cannot waste my time, my eyes, my brain on this stuff just to imagine that I’m going to save a few dollars now and then. Please give me the money and stop the stress that you cause me. Stop it today, right now. You will lose most of your customers if you continue this nonsense. My June 23 receipt says I had $39.61 rewars that expire on 7/4/2023. Today’s receipt says I have $2.60 points that expire 7/4. Please explain in letters to customers in simple black and white print what you are doing so we can understand it.

While I do appreciate Kroger coupons,I am not into the digital stuff. It seems rather excusive and not worth the trouble.I have shopped at Kroger for years and I use coupons.I feel a little left out at times. From the comments that I read by others I think maybe this Points-Rewards-Plus thing may be too much of a pain in the neck.
Elaine Saunders
I agree, I thought this was money saving to help us with food and then you have to make yet another account 🙁
Amy
It was very easy to set up and you can use it to get free food items, not just digital gaming content

Seeing all the complaints on here is why I abandoned working grocery cs and feel bad for the cashier’s whenever I ship at Kroger stores. It is not difficult to use your points if you know how to thoroughly read the website and your coupon. You go to the website and sign in. If you have not made a Kroger (Ralph’s, qfc, etc.) account online, you’ll have to make one. When you’re signed in, enter the code pin and redeem. If it doesn’t work, check the expiry of the points, or check that you aren’t mixing the letter “O” with zero (0), or the letter “I” with one (1). If you have enough points for what you want, redeem them and check for an email in the hour with your reward (this means checking your spam too if it’s not in your promotions or primary inbox. Or search your inbox for easier sorting in a cluttered inbox).
And to the people complaining that they aren’t getting pins: 1). You only get points on qualifying items; not every item purchase applies. Most items covered are snack items (this means your expensive tide pods do not count). There are additional point reward tags next to price tags to tell you if they qualify (check with your store if these tags are not being used, do not call support over this). 2). If you aren’t getting codes because either the register doesn’t have a coupon machine or the cashier forgot to give you the coupons (only applicable at traditional register; it’s not the sco attendants responsibility to make sure you take your trash) then check with the store or ask if any coupons printed to make sure.
Finally, your receipt tells you near the bottom where you are at towards the 30 dollar purchase requirement. So if you are 6 dollars away, it has a spot to tell you. And it details on them that these promos happen every month during specific times. These periods can effect expirations and available prizes.
If you are being told you cannot create an account, then at that point call support. But make sure you entered your info correctly and to the requirements outlined. If there’s a web error they can help, but no one can help you if you choose to be angry you didn’t notice you put an incorrect email in.
SC
That was a great, thoroughly done explanation. The point many are making is they don’t want to have to read, follow rules, get pins. Just give a coupon simple and easy to redeem.
Gary Royer
Hi Katie,
This rewards program is a scam. Too many people are wasting their time trying to use their points, and all you do is give them the same copy and pasted response everytime they ask for help >>>>”Customer Service can answer any further questions that you may have about this program. You can contact them at [email protected] or visit http://www.pointsrewardsplus.com/support.”<<<<
YOU get off you butt, YOU contact your management, YOU start the process of fixing the problems. OR just become a Kroger bagger, kind of hard to screw that up and be lazy.

Do you know what media literacy is? It’s realizing this is (to adopt your own typing habits) a PERSONAL BLOG. Kroger does not own this page, it’s powered through similar web design software to WordPress . There are random ads all over that tell you this too. Not to mention that she cannot use the official Kroger logo, or that it’s listed on Facebook as a personal blog, or that there is no Kroger copyright on the page, or that her about page does not affaire her as an employee managing this on behalf of Kroger. She is not a worker for Kroger.
Katie is likely her own boss and trying to get people the most out of there shopping at Kroger stores. She’s doing it out of charity and kindness. Don’t abuse that generosity with misplaced anger and ignorance.
Amy
Not a scam. Lol. I have 8,000 points and got $2 off a gallon of gas.
rio
to redem is gas points is gone rigth now…
Dianne Brown
I’ve tried the sites you recommend but am like Richard & the rest! CANNOT get in & would like to REDEEM my points! PLEASE help or admit it’s ALL A SCAM!!!
Bethany Curry
This does seem like a scam, I have had nothing but trouble and absolutely no one has helped me through the “customer service” link.
Richard Nielsen
I have tried both of these sites after letting your link open googlechrome.com…You can contact them at [email protected] or visit http://www.pointsrewardsplus.com/support. Both of them give me REQUEST IS DENYED page. I would like to login and put in my pin code for two coupons that expire today….Now what??????
Katie
Richard, this is the page you enter your codes: http://www.pointsrewardsplus.com/
It’s working fine for me right now…
Julie
I tried to the pointsrewardsplus.com address a day before expired and it just kept coming back invalid pin or something. I finally just tossed it in the basket and figured the whole thing was useless.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I’ve gotten the same access denied crap for months. I have emailed and called customer. If you email the points rewards plus page they tell you to call Kroger customer service. Call Kroger customer service they tell you to call points rewards plus. Call points rewards plus and you only get a voicemail with no return call. Thousands of points expired now. Total bs! This is the worst program Kroger has done yet! I’m about to stop shopping here due to this crap
Richard Nielsen
Following your instructions and the site POINTS REWARDS PLUS (click here) tells me that I cannot access the site to find a login page. I have 2 coupons with pin codes that expire today. How do I get them into your system? This is totally frustrating.
Athanasius C
Not doing well, myself– my attempts to log in or create a new account all are rejected, though I’m providing the info I’ve used at Fred Meyer for years. Not worth the frustration and online bean counting.

I have found this program to work well for me. My only questions: 1) When does the program end? 2) Does the fuel points offer reload? I used it once for 500 fuel points but now says there is nothing in the fuel points category available.

I just got my two new codes to work, but Last week had a code that didn’t and wasn’t expired. So I don’t know what the problem is. It makes me think something about the site is glitchy. I’ve had no problems entering and redeeming codes in the past, so this appears to be a recent thing. I just hope it gets figured out soon. I agree it is frustrating when the codes won’t work.

I can’t get it to work.
MARY ANN ATKISSON
I’m new to the rewards program and don’t know what happens after I redeem the points. I just redeemed 500 fuel points but it’s not showing up on the available monthly points.
Will it be available the next time I’m at the pump?
Gosia
I am experiencing the same.. redeemed 500 fuel points but at the pump -no rewards… customer service is not responding or they give standard answers- useless- waste of time- Kroger makes so much money on groceries yet their registers and system is obsolete- constant crashes. I am fed up with them. Use Safeway! Much better experience all around!!!
Grant
Same. I redeemed for 500 fuel points on 9/24. 10 days later I hadn’t received anything on my Kroger account in the form of fuel points for a voucher. I reached out to “customer support” and received the following:
‘Your 500 Fuel Points will show up in your digital wallet as a clipped coupon via your Kroger Family of Stores digital account. The Fuel Points have not been added to your Fuel Points balance at this point. You will receive your Fuel Points on your next shopping trip at a local Kroger Family of Stores using your Shopper’s Card. After you complete your next shopping trip, the Fuel Points will be visible in your Fuel Points balance. Fuel Points can be redeemed at Kroger Family of Stores Fuel Centers and participating gas station locations. You can visit your Kroger Family of Stores website to find a list of participating gas stations.’
To me this doesn’t make sense, if I read this correctly, they are saying “Just go to Kroger one more time and it will show up.” Um, okay, why now? Why do I have to make another purchase?
And, as I’m sure you’ve guessed, nothing has appeared in my account in the form of a digital voucher or fuel points after two more trips to the store.
BG
Same exact problem. Nothing is in my wallet. Nothing is on my account. Contacted customer service. No rewards were ever added after I redeemed them.

KATIE, I HAVE SHOPPED AT KROGER 4 TIMES THIS MONTH, THE FIRST TRANSACTION I EARNED $28.75, THE SECOND TIME I EARNED $17.70, THE THIRD TIME I EARNED $17.70 AND THE FOURTH TIME I EARNED $15.16. THAT WOULD BE A TOTAL OF $79.31 JUST FOR THIS MONTH AS OF TODAY. I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A COUPON WITH PIN CODES TO REDEEM. WHAT IS GOING ON? IF THIS PROGRAM IS NOT GOING TO BE DONE RIGHT IT SHOULD BE ENDED. PLEASE RESPOND.
chris k pape
I recieved 3 coupons on 9/25 that were supposed to be valid through 10/25.
Each coupon code got an INVALID code error when I entered the pin codes…………..

Is there a way for delivery customers to participate? I do not receive a paper receipt any more, so Ibotta is out and I do not receive any of the catalina printouts either…Any advice or insights?
Katie
Charby, sometimes I do get a receipt from my delivery person since they are checking out at an actual cash register. When you’re texting your shopper, just ask them to give you all checkout coupons and receipt. Hope that helps!
