One of the best ways to get high value coupons is to just politely ask for them. In my experience, you don’t have to brow beat or give false flattery to companies in order to gain access to these great savings. If coming right out and asking is not your style, just send them a simple comment or compliment and above all be honest. In most cases, they will send you a coupon(s).
It is super helpful for everyone to get involved so please continue to suggest companies you have had success with or would like to get coupons from. Don’t forget to let us all know what you have received because not everyone will receive the same values or amounts of coupons so it’s nice to get a little feedback. What one person suggests today could be money in another’s pocket down the road!
Case in point – Way back in June 2011 reader Susan suggested we email some diaper companies, one of which was LUVS. My family doesn’t personally use diapers at this stage so it’s nice to get your needs as well. I was happy to have received a recent comment from reader Cara R. stating “I wrote my first email to LUVS, yesterday. I got a reply within an hour… Two $10 coupons will be mailed to me! What a fun game! My email was a paragraph long. Super easy. Today I emailed OBERWEIS!”
Now those are some high value coupons!! It’s nice to see how one person’s suggestion has benefited others! Thanks for all your input!

I actually wrote Luv’s an email letting them know how grateful I am for such a great product at a wonderful price. I asked them a question because I had bought two boxes in a row where the tabs stuck to the diaper and I had to rip them off. Told them that I was still very satisfied and have used Luvs for seven years now. I have a seven year old, a two year old and one on the way and that I would continue to use their products. Much to my surprise about four weeks later I received 8-$10.00 off coupons!! I was able to finish buying diapers for my two year old and bought a few boxes for the new one. What a great coupon!!!
