week of 6/23/13
We’re going to start doing something different with the must do deals from now on. Starting this week, I am going to highlight the MUST-DO deals on Wednesdays instead of on Sunday. The reason for this change is because when I post the “must do deals” on Sunday, those are only encompassing what is in the ad itself. Those are not necessarily the best deals of the week. If you’ve been reading for awhile you know that the best deals are UNadvertised. Now this list will actually be the MUST-DO deals for the week, not just what is advertised. 🙂

**I don’t include meat and local produce deals in this list because they vary so much by region. Be sure to check your local ad for those must-do deals!

Mason OH ( north of Cincinnati) has the Kraft bbq sauce for $1 and the French’s mustard for 4 / $5 but not as part of the mega event on the shelf tag.
The smaller French’s was on sale for 59c ( down from 89c) so I got that one for 9c after the 50c coupon instead.

My store advertised the BBQ sauce as $1.00 after discount, but two varieties (honey and thick and spicy brown sugar) were actually marked at $.50 after discount in the store. You might check these varieties.

BBQ sauce wasn’t marked at mine either, but they still rang up correctly. They were 50 cents after savings, not free though. In fact, almost everything in this post is about .20-.60 cheaper than my Michigan Kroger.

Totinos party pizza is $.69 wyb 10. Kraft Barbeque sauce are 10/$10, turkey hill tea $.89 wyb 10..this is from spring Texas! They don’t double coupon and prices are still higher compare to the ones that do double 🙁

also, my kroger only lets me use one of the bayer 3.00 off next order at a time, so i have 8 of them, and am going to have to use them all separately..kind of a bummer, but i go there often, anyways
KORI
they do roll, however

My mustard was 4/5.00..so i used 3 .50/1 coupons on 3 and paid .25 for each..still a good deal

I shop at a Delta region Kroger. All varieties of Kraft BBQ sauce were included in the mega event, but the French’s mustard was not, although it was on sale. I picked up the flyer with the list of inclusions and it was not the same list that was on this website. Looks like each region is doing something slightly different.

Only the honey BBQ sauce was listed at my store on Monday. I haven’t been back to the store to see if the sale price is still there.

I think The BBQ sauce was removed from the event. It worked at my midatlantic Kroger on Sunday and then I went to a different store in my area yesterday and there were no signs for it being on mega event. Just 10$10 signs. I went back to the first kroger to buy 6 BBQ sauces, two biscuits, and two jars of pickles. When I hit pay now on the self checkout the $5 did not come off and I looked at screen and did not see the <+ signs on the sauces. I had to show them the signs by the sauce that showed it was part of the deal and after going back and forth (they came up with great excuses but I didn't back down) they rang up a $5 loyalty gift card at customer service and let me use it in the transaction.

Hormel Sandwich Makers are also $1.99 as part of mega deal in Mid Atlantic region. With $1.00 coupon (expires 7/29/13), makes them $0.99 each.

My Kroger in mid-Michigan also doesn’t have the French’s mustard as a part of the Mega-Event sale! 🙁 We don’t have the Kraft BBQ sauce either! 🙁

I’ve been to 3 different Kroger’s in my area (Columbus region), and none of them had the French’s mustard as part of the mega -event. Is that just an individual store decision?

In some regions the Totino’s pizzas are 49¢ ea. with 10 participating products. BUT – Kroger also mailed out some “Best-Customer” coupons for -$2/8 Tot. Pizzas. If you were lucky enough to have received one, that makes them only 25¢ ea. in this region!
