A Catalina (Cat) is a reward you receive for purchasing participating items. It will print in the form of a coupon at checkout and you can use it like cash for your next shopping trip. For example, Buy (3) boxes of cereal to receive a $5 coupon good on your next order.
You will usually find hanging tags under the participating item stating the requirements for generating a Catalina, or you’ll receive an advertisement for them in the form of a Catalina.
Here are the current Catalinas for Kroger that I have found. Keep in mind that I have NOT tested all of these myself, so please let me know if they do NOT work for you or if you find any others! I rely on coupon forums and word of mouth (not to mention ME walking down every aisle at Kroger with an eagle eye!) to keep this list current!

I am from AZ and was glad to find your site. When I find a catalina in the midwest they seem to apply here also. When I am in Tucson or Phoenix will try these and let you know if they work.
Thanks for all your work.
Katarina
Hi Mary! That’s stinky! Don’t go back to the store…Catalinas are not affiliated with the store…they are a separate company. Here are a couple options:
Email them:
[email protected]
Include:
-Store name and address
-time you were there
-what you bought
-your name and address
Or call, (24 hours After your purchase)
1-888-8coupon, option 3
Let me know what happens!

I went to Kroger today and bought 3 BC potato pouches for $1.00 each and 4 PB Grands Jr. Biscuits for .99 each; I used 2 BC MQ for .40/1 and 2 .30/2 PB MQ. Bottome line is I did not get ANY cats at all! Think I should go back to the store and complain? I live in zip code 77044. Are all listed Cats in all Krogers?
Katarina
Thanks for commenting Cait! I in fact, just returned from Walmart where I snagged all my FREEBIES: Schick Razors, Johnson Buddies, Wardley Fish Food and Kotex Liners! And a new toy for Kambell of course! 🙂

can I just give an “Amen” to the wal-mart comment. they’re not very nice about coupons either. They don’t double…and I can never find what I’m looking for! I’m with you on the items to go to Wal-Mart for. Thanks for this great list! Will definitely be back..I mainly shop Kroger for my groceries. Found you through Deal Finding Chik. 🙂
Katarina
I know! I was just telling my husband the other day….that’s where I’m saving most of my money…NOT shopping at Walmart! I only go to Walmart for the FREE and under $0.50 items that I post. Plus, the occasional toy, of course! Thanks for commenting!!
Anna
I’m so glad you do Kroger deals. I don’t see too many blogs that have grocery store deals, let alone ones in my area. Most blogs I see are surrounded by drug store posts. I’ve always been an avid Walmart shopper. But, since I’ve started couponing in the last few months I realize Walmart doesn’t have sales. So, thank you for all you do.
