I had the same problem with the Gardein chili as Dave Bruce. I was surprised at the lack of knowledge at customer service and manager on how mega sales work.

I have had more problems with this Mega Sale than any other. For example the Gardein Chili you have listed (for $0.49) was marked the same at the store with a dark blue tag and $2off when you buy 3 or more, etc. It did not show up as a MegaSale item at the register. The Manager of the store said if the items are not in the flyer then they aren’t included. Then I showed them the tag with $2 off, Buy 3 or more and she said “That is a different Sale promotion just on the chili” – not the MegaSale.
So is your post and the tags at the store incorrect ? So far Kroger will not comment….
