Another Kroger affiliate store has announced that it will no longer be doubling coupons as of August 24th, 2016. Tuesday, August 23rd will be the last day of double coupons for King Soopers (found mostly in Colorado). They will only accept paper coupons at FACE value. There are promises of lower pricing to help offset this new policy change.

Looks like the only region left that still doubles is Knoxville TN area stores (Mid-South region).

Same thing happened at frys food in Arizona! Some prices actually went up!

Did you find that the promise to lower prices to make up for this when your regions dropped double coupons actually happen?
No the prices did not drop and in some cases were actually raised! I really only shop Kroger now for the mega sales and marked down produce. We have another store in my area that still doubles, so I do more shopping there.
