I am a LONG TIME Kroger shopper & coupon clipper. Since it’s down to two of us it’s much easier to coupon for only two. My daughter found your site & was very excited to use your help to cut her grocery spending. She used your tips & clipped & was ready. 6 yr old in school. 1 yr old in the cart. She got to the check out & absolutely nothing scanned except for a jelly bean coupon she really didn’t need. She politely said she’d have to take it out of the cart. The checkout woman said ok and waited. Not helped. While the baby starts fussing & my daughter is embarrased. She takes 1/2 her cart items out. The lady said it’s policy if the coupon won’t scan, she can’t accept them. I’ve never had that happen to me. I felt so bad for my daughter since I’m the one encouraging her to do this & she lives an hour away or I’d go with her myself. What should she have done?
