UPDATE: Kroger has NOW updated the coupon with the following information: “Coupon valid for redemption in Kroger stores only in the Greater Cincinnati and Daytona area. Coupon only available for download through 11/9/2013.”
I’m guessing this is why it’s not coming off for some of you (althought it IS working for some who are NOT in those areas so who knows). I love you Kroger and have been nothing but supportive for the last 4 years on this blog, but it’s time to get your act together with these digital coupons. This coupon should have NOT been available to load if it was not available for everyone to use. That is all.

The email mentions an Open House that will be taking place on November 9th, from 10am-6pm but I am not sure if that is ALL locations. Check your local store for details. ALSO, the coupon is valid through 12/2, so you’ll have plenty of time to make good use of it!!
Want to use coupons with this? Just get your PRE-coupon total up to $50 and this $5 will automatically come off your total. THEN, hand over your coupons. Digital coupons MAY interfere with this, so keep that in mind.

Excuse me, but what is the deal with this $5/×50 coupon I’ve received. Was asked to go online to take care of this. Now I see, it expired 5 years ago…what? Kroger…seriously…you bought the Dillons family name for a reason. It could cost you dearly if you don’t put your heart into your consumers…like we consumers give our hearts to you! Just saying…

My grocery bill was $85.65 i received the save $5.00 when you spend $50.00 . i presented the coupon to the casher and was told to go to this web site and they would give me a coupon that i could print off. this that i was given expired in 2013 .
Kroger should not make this offer in 2018 when it expired in 2013. Bad business.
I received the 5 off 50 coupon on Jan. 10, 2018, but too bad your website says it expired on 12.2.13. What’s the deal?
I’m in Kingsport TN and spent over $100 Friday evening and had a $5 O H ecoupon come off-don’t know if this was the same coupon or not but was glad to see the $5 come off-it was a nice surprise!!!

Worked for me in Detroit,MI suburbs. Spent about $106 pre-kroger card and about $36 after mega event and coupons. I loaded before they changed the wording on the coupon.
It worked for me in Atlanta.
Went this morning and it didn’t come off.. Going to call CS… The words didn’t say that when I DL it but the words has now changed… They should do somthing about it…
i did a deal in the morning it didnt come off then i read only in certain areas so was like ok why can i load it if i can not use it. i went last night grocery shopping and it took it off. i wonder if it is only on grocery items cause in the morning all i grabbed was playtex, all, sun, gillette but in the afternoon i actually got food- biscuits, sausage, syrup, delmonte stuff getting ready for thanksgiving so hum.

Louisville, KY – My mother spent slightly more that $100 today, & the $5 did NOT come off. BUT – before coupons today, I spent just a smidge over $50 and it DID come off! (receipt: “ecpn O H $5”) When I went into accounts to check, I saw that revision to the locale. But I am NOT in the specified region, yet it seemed to work.
I loaded the $5 coupon to my card yesterday but it wouldn’t work today. It has been changed NOW to say Dayton & Cincinnati area only. I called the customer service 800 number and reported what had happened to me, I don’t know what they will do (if anything) but the man wrote up a full report and was sending it on. The coupon is still on my account.
Went to Swartz Creek, MI Kroger today after downloading yesterday. PRE-coupon total was over $100 – $29.56 after 🙂 and no $5 digital. Could be that it is regional or that the $50 is post coupons. Would like to find out which if anyone has any more info.

I was able to load the coupon to my card via your link however, when I clicked on the “more” for the fine print it stated: “valid for redemption in Kroger stores only the Greater Cincinnati and Daytona area.” We’ll see when I shop today if it comes off or not. It doesn’t hurt to load it just in case though. =)

I called customer service. Said they are going to contact me via email on the issue. Asked for numbers on receipt. Said they should load the $5 discount onto my card. Will let u all know tue turn out. Cant wait to get my $5 lol love this site!

My stores typically have an open house right about this time of year. In the past, different departments (deli, bakery, floral, etc.) showcased their party goods. There were food samples and drawings for prizes. I like to go shopping at Kroger on this day!
Does the $50.00 total include the mega deal discounts?
I saw a sign at my Kroger’s today about a one day only sale for November 9th. Was in a hurry so didn’t read it all. May check your stores about items one sale that day only.
I went to load it and can’t find it anywhere….that kinda makes me mad that some get it and others don’t. As much money as I spend at Kroger and they can’t even give me a little $5 off coupon. We shall see if it shows up at sometime in the future.

I couldn’t find it either but then I clicked on the picture of the coupon in Katie’s post here while logged in to Kroger’s it took me directly to the coupon & I could load it – it’s apparently a “featured coupon”, not with the other digital coupons.

That’s odd that on the page, it says to visit during the holiday and save $5 but the coupon doesn’t expire until December. It almost makes it seem like you have to use it during that time. Oh, well…I’m definitely excited about this one and loaded it to my best friend’s card too. Hehe…I’m not even going to tell her…I do that and surprise her a lot. 😀
