UPDATE: It looks like the $4.00/2 digital coupon is only attaching to the first item, making it $2.99 minus $4 = negative $1.01. THEN, the 50% off promo attaches to the lower value item, taking off $0.50 only. Confusing, I know!! I suggest taking your receipt to customer service, as they are supposed to honor the advertised pricing regardless of coupons.

I studied my receipt after doing this deal. The amount for the 50% off the 2nd item is calculated AFTER the $2 from the $4/2 cpn is subtracted. So the 50% is $2.99-$2.00= $.99×50% is $.50. They figured out how to short us here!
Added .40 back to my receipt for the Aussie deal.
didn’t work for me either. went to customer service and she claimed the coupon was working correctly. i just asked for a refund.
I also only saved $3.50 with the $4 coupon. I was lucky enough to get the survey invitation so I let them know I felt ripped off. I’ve complained online before and they are very good at responding to complaints.
I just left the store. Aussie shampoo/conditioner cost $1.98. The Herbal Essence profit of $1.52.
The coupons came off diff for me. I agree that the second bottle of Aussie was only showing .40 off not the 1/2 off. Also I had 2 coupons come off with the 1/2 off the second bottle of Herbal Essence.
On my receipt it says 50% off 2nd item .50 with no – beside it. They actually added the 50% off the second (which already wasn’t what it should have been to my total. My total was 2.63 for the two bottles and the .15 tax. Had there not been a “ sale” my total would have been 2.13. Being .99 for each bottle after coupon and the .15 tax. How does this make a sale or any sense?
So with their digital $4/2 coupon it does not take the 50% off. To me that’s false advertisement! It does not state anywhere that it will not take the full 50% off of you use the $4 coupon. The cashier tried to tell me that the coupon covers the rest of it. Um no these are two separate things! One is a sale and one is a q. I think this is bull and we should be able to fight it!

Mine didn’t half the second bottle it only took off .40 and then the $4. Still a good deal, but not great
The $4.00/2 Herbal Essences coupon seems to be for the Bio:renew products which are more expensive.
I tried this yesterday as well and my total was $2.67 for 2 bottles of herbal essence 🙁
I tried this deal earlier with the Aussie and it didn’t work.
