TOMORROW, Thursday, 9/28 ONLY – Kroger is having a Halloween Candy FLASH SALE! Score 50% on select Jumbo Bags (15.9 – 42.3 oz) of candy!! We also have several coupons available for these. I’ve put together some deal scenarios for you based on last year’s pricing. I will update the list in the morning once we get into the store and see what all is included, but this should give you a good headstart.

I’m guessing that the Cincinnati Kroger region (and possibly Michigan) will also be doing their $1.88 candy sale (smaller bags) next week, but this sale on the jumbo bags should be happening at all locations tomorrow.
Flash Sale – 50% off Jumbo Halloween Candies. Got there along with several others thinking of stocking up while candy was on sale. The sale wasn’t really for the “jumbo” sizes (normally $11.99, $13.99 and $15.99), but rather for the middle sized bags of candy (normally about $5.99), and only very select sizes of select brands. Several of us found that our Smiths location was not apprised of the flash sale and therefore did not have much of the candy in stock. Plenty of candy, just not the sizes designated by the Flash Sale. Some of the bag sizes were just .02 oz off and they did not qualify for the sale.
Having no list the day before when I was notified of the Flash Sale, it was hard to know what was on sale, as nothing was marked. The sweet gal who covered the self checkout lanes hand one printed list (very light in color) that she offered to let me take to the candy isle to try and match it up to what was available. I ended up with Swedish fish and skittles instead of the chocolate I usually buy because the bag sizes didn’t comply. Frustrating.
