I was talking with a cashier at Kroger a couple days ago and she said that they were not supposed to allow overage on the $6/3 coupon. I guess they were told this after the mega event two weeks ago. She didnt give a long explanation about it tho.

I got 3 of the 1.50 foamy cans the other day. The $6/3 coupon beeped and I think it said “item not found” or whatever kroger’s wording is on that. She pushed it through and I got the $1.50 overage. I don’t know that all cashiers would do that though.
I got 3 of the $2.00 items later that day (satincare and men’s aftershave) and it didn’t beep for them.
