I had this problem just today with the Palmolive dish soap coupons. She was nice and tried several different ways. Finally it went through when she used the hand zapper.
I printed two coupons for the Hunts tomatoes from coupons.com and they didn’t scan either. The cashier was very friendly and tried for several minutes and even tried typing in the barcode, but they didn’t work. That was the first time I have ever ran into this problem.
OK….The last time I went to Kroger I had at least 10 coupons. Ones I have used time and again like yoplait etc. They were new coupons, well printed on legit coupon websites, and mostly ones that you had links to from your blog. At checkout not ONE of the coupons scanned. The checkout girl even tried scanning a few with the scanning gun. She even tried manually typing in a few. Not one worked. I was shocked! I know their policy is that they can’t accept a coupon if the scanner doesn’t acknowledge it so there was nothing I could do or they could do. What is the deal? Is Kroger changing their computer systems to no longer take internet coupons? Just a week ago they system scanned most all of the coupons I had. This time, none. I was very much discouraged. I changed kroger stores before this because the closest kroger to my home gave me so many problems time and again, found a new kroger that was taking everything, and now, none at all. Is this just my bad luck?
