I, too, have been rebuffed with the excuse that the product costs from 1¢ to 11¢ LESS than the value of the coupon. BUT…Kroger will be reimbursed the FULL VALUE of the coupon – plus a handling fee. Which means this SHOULD be a MONEY-MAKER for Kroger. (So they won’t be out any money.)
I’m new to coupons and last night I purchase 2 bayer aspirin 4 1.99 each and gave cashier 4off2 cpn 4 aspirin and cashier said that I couldn’t use my 4off2 aspirin cpn cause it was more than product. Can someone explain because I thought that’s how u get free product.
She should have price adjusted the coupon down to 1.99 off each. She probably just meant they don’t do “overages” but didn’t know how to fix it. Take coupon policy with you!
