Yes Kroger will definitely take off their $1 digital coupon on a .99 mega sale item & $2 off their digital coupon on a $1.99 mega sale item. Did this numerous times in ’18 but have not tested it yet in ’19. Live in Greater Cincinnati. Do NOT mention anything to the self checkout attendant or full service cashier when checking out as they know way less than a savvy couponer! Nothing good will come from opening your mouth & talking to a poorly trained employee! Savings will come off automatically.

In my experience, Kroger will not take a $1.00 off coupon for a $.99 item…EVEN if you point out to them that the $.99 item is included in the Qualifying Products. This is in Central Ohio area. YMMV.
