Our Kroger and this happen to me when I bought only 5 crest and use the 2/1 coupon and they were on megs they only will take 4 cpns . I realized that I must buy other items maybe another megs deal where the .1 cent can be applied to items in basket – so last week there was a 2 of Colgate and Colgate was in mega 1.99 so I did buy 4 Colgate and used the 4/2 digital and 3 of the 2 dlrs just did 3 megs deals because it was buy 4 save 4 and that worked
Just a heads up here, my Kroger would not accept a $2 coupon off of a $1.99 item. They said the coupon exceeded the purchased item. Check with your store before you waste the ink.
