Well, this little project has taken a backseat to all the online deals that have been taking over this month, so I stayed up a little late to make sure I had this post scheduled so I don’t get too backed up! I received an email from another blogger about requesting a coupon for $0.50/1 Kangaroo Pita Pockets for this week’s Kroger sale. The only problem is, the coupon arrives by mail and take about 4 weeks. That won’t do us any good for this week’s sale, but the Kangaroo Pita Pockets are frequently on sale at Kroger for $1.00, making them FREE with the doubled coupon! This got me thinking…why don’t we request coupons for upcoming Kroger sales? Since there’s no way to see 4-6 weeks in the future I decided to grab a few old Kroger sale ads to find items that frequently go on sale for which we don’t usually see coupons. I thought we could make this a weekly thing, so we can stay consistent. I used to request coupons from companies via email quite often with GRAND results, although I wasn’t consistent with this and eventually just stopped doing it altogether. This will keep us on the straight and narrow.
