I bought 5 items from the mega sale and the five dollars did not come off my total. I bought 2 carefree, 2 Kraft dressing and 1 Honey Nut Cheerios. I had an ecoupon 3/2 on the carefree that came off. They are telling me that if you have a paper coupon or ecoupon, you don’t get the mega.

Sadly the deal didn’t work for me. It only applied the mega event $1 off to one set of liners and the second got the $3 off. This left me with paying $1 for each basically, and I don’t have the Ibotta rebate either.

Thanks so much for sharing this experience! I’ve been watching this post because this exact scenario has happened to me in the past when a coupon is for two items, and it’s for a higher dollar amount than one item. Rather than splitting the coupon value between the two items, the computer applies the entire amount to one of the items and then it’s free so the mega discount doesn’t come off that item. Kroger customer service wasn’t helpful either.
