Pooh, great time to buy exta, allow them to get overripe and freeze for banana bread. A trick to make the yellow ones last longer though- when they are the ripeness you like, put Ghent in the crisper drawer. The peel will brown but the insides will stay good.
remember: buy a bunch, peel, cut them up, freeze them on wax paper. you can eat them as a snack or put them in smoothies. they won’t turn brown!
