But here’s the catch; how the deal rings up depends on your store’s region. Some will give you the second item totally free (equal or lesser value), while others will just ring both items at 50% off. Either way, you’re still winning.

Kroger stores and affiliates ring Buy One Get One Free sales up differently depending on where you are located. Some will ring them up half price/half price and some will ring them up full price and zero (a true buy one get one free). To find out how your store handles BOGOs, simply look at the shelf tag and it will tell you. Why does this matter? Two reasons: You CANNOT use a coupon on an item that rings up zero, but you can for an item that is half off. ALSO, if your store ring up half price, then you only have to buy one to get that deal.

can fuel points be rolled to the next month?
They only roll to the next month. For example, all points earned in December are good until the end of January. But this is important: You cannot combine points from two months. For example if you have 500 unused points in December, they will carry over to January but you cannot combine them with January points. When you go to the pump you have a choice which points to use. In most cases I use the oldest first because we get gas more than once in a month. You are wise to ask – took me a while to figure that out.
They have never let us rollover our points to the next month. It would be nice if they did.

GUESS YOU MISSED THE NEWS A WEEK OR SO SAYING THE NEWPAPERS WERE NO LONGER GOING TO CARRY THE COUPON INSERTS. IT WAS ON LOCAL AND NATIONAL NEWS BOTH. YOU MIGHT CHECK WITH YOUR PAPER TO SEE IF MAYBE THEY MADE SOME SPEACIL DEAL. WITH LOCAL STORES ETC.
