I briefly mentioned this Colgate/Softsoap monthly deal in my Rite Aid matchups, but wanted to give you a couple deal ideas so you can pull off a HOT moneymaking scenario!
There are 2 +UpR deals overlapping this week:
- Buy (1) Kids or Adult Colgate Power Toothbrush = $3.00 +UpR (limit 4) – weekly deal thru 5/5
- Buy $20 Worth of Colgate/Softsoap = $10 +UpR (limit 4) – monthly deal thru 5/1*
Deal Idea:
Buy (3) Colgate Power Toothbrushes – $6.99 each
Use (3) $2/1 Colgate Powered Toothbrush from 4/29 SS
Pay $14.97, get back $10 +UpR and (3) $3 +UpR
Final cost is 3 for FREE + $4.03 Moneymaker!
If your store is running low on power toothbrushes, you can mix and match with the Colgate Sensitive Pro Toothpaste and do the following:
Buy (2) Colgate Power Toothbrushes – $6.99 each
Buy (2) Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief Toothpaste (4 oz) – $4.99 each
Use (2) $2/1 Colgate Powered Toothbrush from 4/29 SS
Use (2) $1/1 Colgate Total Advanced, Optic White or Sensitive Pro-Relief from 4/15 SS
Pay $17.96, get back $10 +UpR and (2) $3 +UpR for power toothbrushes and (2) $2.50 +UpR for Toothpaste
Final cost is all for FREE + $3.04 Moneymaker!
*if you took advantage of this monthly deal any other time this month, you may not be able to do this one. It is a limit 4 for the whole month through 5/1.

Katarina
Dung, thanks for the positive feedback! So glad the deal worked for you! 🙂

MH, did you see any signage indicating the monthly deal? If so, call the number on your receipt and they will reimburse you. That’s what I did for the Nivea deal and they sent me my +UpR in the mail. This monthly deal was not in this week’s ad, but it WAS in previous ads in April and was supposed to run through 5/1.

Eric, I investigated this and there is some glitch in the system and apparently the wellness+ IS applying to these items. Not such good timing when you’re trying to reach a grand total. 🙁

I bought the three toothbrushes, got the (3) $3 +UP but did not get the $10 +UP or even anything listed at the bottom towards it. Is this regional and is there any way to tell if it is available?

Katarina, we do have the discount; the gold level 20% actually. But these were already on Wellness+ sale at 6.99 per the flyer, along with getting the +up rewards.
So I went there with the deal scenarion you mentioned, and came up $2 short of the monthly deal on the first transaction.

I am not sure why or how, but on my receipt, the Toothbrushes said Sale 1/6.99 and Reg 1/7.49, but rang up for $5.99. So needless to say, when I bought 3 and didn’t get the $10 monthly uP+, I was concerned. I looked at the bottom of the receipt and saw $18 toward $20.
I am not sure if it’s a regional pricing thing, or even just my store, but it altered the math a little for me on the fly.
The toothpaste DID ring up properly at 4.99.
Katarina
Eric, do you have the wellness+ discount? http://couponkatarina.com/2009/12/rite-aid-wellness-program-get-5-off-20-purchase/

Thank you so much for posting this deal. I bought the powered toothbrushes late last night and it worked out perfectly. I ended up doing the Crest ProHealth toothpaste deal as well because there was a $1 coupon on the Children’s Miracle Network balloon that I bought a few weeks back making it a $0.31 money maker for me. There are so many freebies this week at Rite Aid, and I am loving it! Thanks, again!
