So, I’m all ready with my list of excuses as to why I haven’t posted about Weight Watchers in 2 weeks. They’re really good ones too…I had family staying with me, I repainted my living room (huge job – glad that’s done), my daughter got impetigo which went into her eye and we ended up in the emergency room, we had a death in the family and the list goes on and on. While all of these are valid excuses, the real reason that I haven’t been posting about it is because I’m a naughty girl who cheated all week long and didn’t count a single point! There I said it. Go ahead and give it to me…I’m ready for it. 🙂
I have not weighed myself because I’m afraid of what I will see. I don’t think I’ve gained any weight back…but I know I didn’t lose any, that’s for sure. So, instead of motivating you with a wonderful success story, this week I’m going to need you guys to motivate me to get my butt in gear! I decided to go back through some of the comments from previous posts for help and here are some of my favorite tips:
Reader Kathy introduced us to Walden Farms – Calorie Free Items, so I will definitely be doing some online shopping this evening! “Walden Farms Salad Dressings are 0 points! Zero fat, calories, carbs, sugars etc. They also make chocolate dipping sauce (zero points ) and other yummy sauces and dips.”
Miranda says: “Fruit has been getting me through the week. Knowing I can eat as much fruit as I want helps when I’m feeling hungry.”
Angie suggests “being a really good water drinker”.
Leslie allows herself a yoplait light with granola for dessert.
And many of you mentioned that fruit and popcorn is getting you through…what is the lowest point popcorn?
I hope to be back to my old self this week, but in the meantime everyone keep sharing your great ideas in the comments below and let’s keep each other motivated!!

I started WW at the beginning of the month and have stayed on track with it. I use the online tools (not meetings) and boards to keep motivated. I check in daily and get ideas and encouragement from others.
I think the biggest “light bulb” idea has been meal planning. I printed a calendar for January at the beginning of the month and planned out most of my meals. Nothing has to be set in stone, but it’s such a huge help to have that plan to fall back on.
I’m making my planner for Feb now and hope it’s the key to more success in February!
Come on, Katarina, you can do this!

You have been so diligent at finding the best bargains for all of us … Thanks! So, I know you have the self discipline and diligence to loose the weight you want … you CAN do this! Keep up the great work!

Best advice I have gotten, and helps me… still go to meetings and weigh in. Keeps you a bit more on track. I have used so many excuses, but in the end I need to know where I have been to keep it up and stay on course! Good luck! My second weigh in is tomorrow. (I have done WW many times on and off since 2003)

I’m not on weight watchers – I’m very pregnant, actually. But my favorite place to find inspirational quotes is Pinterest. Funny, the commenter above me mentioned it too. If you don’t have one you can email me at amanda (at) peachysaving dot com and I can send you one. It takes a couple of weeks to get one if you request it through the site.
Anyway, here are a couple of quotes on my Pinterest board you might like…

I lost about 50 pounds prior to getting pregnant. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. There will be road blocks and detours…injuries, illness, loss of motivation… but the single most important requirement to being successful is the ability to drag yourself out of the ditch and get back to achieving your goals.
I did P90X with my hubby. It’s really hardcore exercise and I’m glad no one but my hubby saw me doing it the first few times. But I ended up the most fit I’ve ever been in my life – even more fit than I was as a teen. It also gave us something to do together. It helped us motivate each other and work as a team. Even though our goals were waaay different (big weight loss for me, big muscle building for him), our plan was the same and we did it together. And it’s true, weight loss makes you fertile lol.

Don’t give up! We all have our set backs but it’s about learning from our mistakes 🙂 whenever I don’t have any motivation to eat right or exercise I go to Pinterest and look up motivating items. It puts my mind in the right spot.
