In the summer we tend to cook it and just eat it when grilling out. It’s a special treat that my dad has always done for us growing up. He slices them up kind of on the thin side and they get really crispy and done. In the colder months, I cook it up and put it with rice and veggies and make a sort of jambalaya dish.
