There was a coupon in last Sunday’s inserts that applies to these: Save $1.00 when you buy TWO (2) Kellogg’s Fruity Snacks and/or Black Forest Fruit Snacks (10 ct. or Larger, Any Flavor, Mix or Match) (Expires 9/30/20). So net overall price then drops to $0.49 a box! Note: The picture on the coupon shows Kellogg’s and Black Forest mega-packs, but wording says coupon works on any box 10 ct. or larger, and it worked for me yesterday on the 10 ct boxes in the sale.
There was a 1.00/2 Kellogg fruit snacks coupon in last weeks paper in my area. Used it yesterday and only paid 0.49 a box for these.

Maybe it was a regional coupon? I got it in Denver and used it yesterday at King Soopers (Kroger affiliate) that had these on sale same as Kroger.
