I bought 4 Lipton Tea sparkling. The can stated that it’s Unilever product. The coupons didn’t scan, but the cashier pushed it through because of the wording.
Tried it this morning and it did beep. I didn’t force the issue because, honestly, I really had doubts about even doing this deal. Yes, *technically* the wording is correct but the coupon is really not meant for single bottles of Lipton. So if you decide to try this it might depend on the cashier and if they will push it through….
This coupon is most likely going to beep because bottled Lipton tea is distributed/owned by PepsiCo but this coupon is designed for the tea bags which are from Unilever. This is a Unilever coupon so it’ll probably beep on a PepsiCo product.
The digital coupon event (×5) is for $0.75/1 Lipton product which would also make these $0.25 each if you want to score more for cheap beyond the $2/2 coupon!
why would you only buy 1 when 2 are free?
If the coupon says 2 off 2 lipton, you have to buy 2 you cannot just get one.
