Note to self: Do NOT go do major P&G shopping with tons of coupons on the day before New Year’s Eve. There were a BA-zillion people at Kroger this afternoon and there I was with a 20 minute checkout and someone behind me with, yep you guessed it – 2 things. Hello? I had SO many coupons expiring, that I ended up being a Super Coupon Fairy today. If you live in my town, you may want to peruse the aisles for my unused coupons! Well…I’ve been doing the Kroger “dealing” for a couple of months now! I am totally in love with Kroger! I decided that this past Thurs (dec 30th)….I had better get to using up some of my great P&G coupons…along with the newest P&G insert coupons…I scored a TON of free stuff! My total amount came to $493.59….after the coupons~ was brought down to only $80.37 OOP !!! That’s a total savings of 86% Thanks Katrina for all of the tips!
Kroger:
I wanted to take advantage of the Lean Cuisine/Lean Pockets Deal since I am re-committed to Weight Watchers. I was bummed because the only coupon I had was the $1 off/3 from Jan All You. When I got to the store, All Lean Cuisine and Lean Pockets were priced 5 for $11. With my coupon, it was 5 for $10. Plus the promotion for buy 5 get 2 free. So I got 7 boxes for $10. In order to stretch my deal even more, 4 of my 7 boxes came with 2 meals. This means I have 11 easy WW friendly lunches for only $10. If I can print the other coupons, I will go back for more. Thanks!!
I am very new to couponing, so I was excited with my purchase at Dollar General yesterday. I used 2 $2/1 Olay coupons to get 2 free Olay body washes and picked up a Secret deodorant for $1 after using a $.50/1 coupon! Less than $1.25 with tax for these three!
I just came across your website this week so I decided to give this a try for the first time. You should have seen my face as I was standing at the checkout counter at King Soopers, I was grinning from ear to ear watching the grand total drop! I just got back from Walmart and got 12 Gillette gift sets from Christmas for $5.73. This came with a razor, body wash, DO, and small lotion. I am going to hit up Dollar General tomorrow for free body wash for me 🙂 Happy New Year!!!

Well, I went to Kroger and decided to try the herbal essences deal and they would not let me use the buy one coupons with the .50 for one coupon together. All of the other krogers had previously let me do deals like this but they said I wasn’t able to. But I did get it for really cheap. I used the buy one get one styler free coupon and it made the shampoo and styler very cheap together. Oh well, you win some you lose some.
OOPS…forgot the tally in my previous post. I paid $7.93 OOP, saved $50.69, or 89%!

(2) Old Spice deoderants $1.29 after discount minus overage from BOGO coupons and minus $1/2 coupon= .29 each
(2) Herbal Essenses hair sprays $1.94 each after discount minus BOGO coupon=$1.94 for both (I ran out of the other HE coupons on my first trip this week!)

I used myfree Excerdin coupons and free Right guard coupons so my total shopping trrip was free. I even used the free Right Guard coupons with my in-laws
I used my olay coupon buy one body wash get lotion free.. paid 3.49 for a large body of body with a pg coupon for 1.50 off so got body wash and lotion for 3.49.. good deal I thought!
