My Kroger wouldn’t let me use these coupon since the coupon was more than the product. They said its against their coupon policy.
Tessa I tried it today and they are priced right now because Tuesday they were Still reg price .im in Irving tx and I got 5 what was weird the first 3 they gave me a penny and the last 2 I paid 32 cents.
I just got 6 of these at Kroger in 75235. Worked absolutely fine. It was my first big haul and these will work for our camping trip coming up!
I’m in Colorado a little north of Denver and found them 70% off for $2.91 each. I gave the clerk my $4.00 off coupons and I got overage! Super excited! Thanks for the deal alert!!!

I bought 6 at frys and the black ones tang up at $8.99 but I told the cashier that the tag states $3.99 so he asked someone to check the price tag and so I ended up getting 6 🙂

As someone else mentioned, only the “white” starter kits ring up properly for some reason. So, if you want “hassle free”, just grab white ones. Our cashier did ring up a white one in the place of a black one for us. At our stores in Roanoke, Virginia, they are as stated; $3.99 for the kits, which comes out to “free” with the coupon; very nice deal. The refills are also as stated here and we had no problem.
The sign in my store said $3.99 but the one I had of course rang up $8.99. Luckily the cashier had seen people get these for the lower price so she changed it without question! I always think being pleasant to the cashiers always helps too! 🙂
My Kroger’s is one of the smallest around! There is NO MAKEUP, no pharmacy, no self checkouts, no gas station…however, the prices are right on with this site! AND…my people are super nice! They never question a coupon, and always take them (even if the registers beep, they just type it in without even looking at the coupon) Actually, I forgot once that I had a digital loaded to my card and used a printable on tide, and they took it and the digital. Once I got home, I realized what had happened. Although I LOVE saving money and getting things free, I couldn’t accept that cause I am NO coupon fraud, so I went back with my receipt and told them what happened and gave them 2 bucks back, but the manager was surprised at my honesty and told me to keep it. Since this is a great deal, and my people will take my coupons, I’m going today to pick 2 up. My husband works out of state and called me last night saying he was ate up with mosquitos, so this will come in handy…FOR FREE! Thanks for the great deal!!!
Worked for me. I purchased one and when the cashier noticed the great deal, I gave her one of my coupons so she could work the deal, too!

My mom and I got ours tonite … super excited since we do a lot of camping and these come in handy. The black ones were still full price in ky but the tan whitesh ones were 3.99.

My store only had black ones, and they were signed at reg $9.29/sale $3.99. Unfortunately they rang up at $8.99. I didn’t realize it until I was walking out, so I went to the service desk for a refund. They did give me the refund, but they weren’t happy about it and were kind of rude. :/
I got my two. Didnt see the refills so headed back to get those also.
I did not have any problems with them accepting my coupons. I even got the full value for them.

Cincinnati region has them but its the brown/off white ones… the black ones are still 8.99
I just spent 1/2 my lunch hour @ Kroger to get in on this deal. Only the lighter color ones will ring up for $3.99. The attendant acted like I was trying to steal a black one, made me take him to where I got them. I went through the self checkout so the attendant, who was talking in script about everything, lol had to do my coupons. He would not accept them saying that because the coupon is for more than the item. I could not convince him that IF he would scan them they will ring up for $3.99 not $4.00. He would not even try, ask if I would like someone in management and of course I said yes. He came back and said no was available, they were either on a conference call or very busy. I had him remove them from my order. While he was looking for someone I had pulled up their website and policy, I told him technically their policy states that the coupons will be taken at face value but, he was not interested in do it correctly. Has their policy changed????? Sorry for the rant but, I was so aggravated.

Oh, great. I just printed the coupons, but my store is probably going to be the same way. The prices here are almost always higher than the prices posted on this blog.

They are on sale at the stores in The Woodlands, TX. Got the starter kits for free and 2 pkgs of refills .25 ea.
They are also on sale in Galveston, TX. I went in Kroger’s with no cart expecting not to do this deal and I was shocked! So I had to go back out and get a cart. Since we live on “A RESORT ISLAND” the prices are always higher than off the island! Thanks Katie and your staff for all your hard work.
