Typically, Kroger BOGOs ring up at half price per item. So you would be charged $1.14/$1.15 per set of pens (rather than $2.29 for one set and $0.00 for the other set). Use $1.00 coupon for each item, which brings total per set to $0.14/$0.15 (depending on whether it rounds up or not). My Kroger had a special display in the aisle showing them as 50% off, and on the rack they showed BOGO. Same price with either scenario.
How a BOGO rings up depends on your area. In my area (Toledo) they ring up full price and then $0 for the second one. You can’t use a coupon on the second item in our area, or at least not at the stores I shop.
I am wondering about the inkjoy pens and how they’re .14 a piece? if they are 2.29 and use a $1 off coupon that would make them 1.29? Even with b1g1 free that wouldn’t be .14?
Are they trying to use a coupon for each item on those pens, even the free one? That is my guess and my store will NOT allow that.
I’m guessing her store doubles $1 coupons.
Well if that’s the case….I am moving to her town! My store dropped doubles and they were only up to 50 cents. They also have made up so many silly new rules for couponing (printables) I end up shopping at other stores to use them! Kroger better not make people mad like Target did or they will lose tons of sales.
My Columbus Kroger had 36 Oz bags of Malt o Meal frosted mini wheats cereal for $1/ bag rather than their marked $6.19/bag! I bought 20 for Valentine’s day for hubby, went back this week & bought 10 more! Then today, almost 10 days later, I was in the cereal aisle and saw them on the shelf with the $6.19 label. For fun, I took one to the price scan in the store and it came up $1.00 !!! Hubby is a mini wheats snob and has rejected some brands in the past but he absolutely LOVES these!
I will have to check this out when I go there today 🙂

I received the $2/$10.00 produce, meat/seafood, and deli coupons in the mail. Does that include frozen items, like the frozen bags of salmon?
im going to assume yes brittany, and i will tell you why…i purchase the frozen chicken bagged…these are a meat dept. item actually…and i again am going to assume that the frozen bags of salmon are meat dept. as well…store doesn’t classify the frozen chicken as from the frozen dept. even tho they are merchandised in that area at my store(along with also in a location in the meat dept. bunkers)…i have found this out when i try to use the $ off of frozen dept. items that my chicken will not count towards frozen dept. purchases, because they are coded as meat dept…..so if you have a meat dept. q, then your salmon should count toward your meat dept. total….again i assume…you could ask at the front desk to be sure or your meat dept. employees(they would be able to tell you if they are the ones who stock that item and it would be coded meat dept.)
FYI – I just tried entering ILOVESOCIALMEDIA and it is expired.
