If your store allows you to piggy back a “cents off” coupon with a bogo coupon do this scenario:
Buy (2) Gillette Fusion ProGlide Shave Gel (7 oz) – $1.99 each (wyb 5 participating items)
Use (1) BOGO Free Gillette Fusion Family Shave Prep from 7/7 PG (exp 7/31!) (should deduct pre-mega price of $2.99*)
Plus use (1) $2/1 Gillette Fusion ProGlide Shave Prep from 7/28 PG (exp 8/31) (for the item you’re paying for)
Final cost is 2 for FREE + $1.01 in coupon overage!
*Theroetically, when you use a BOGO coupon your cashier should deduct the PRE-mega pricing because you are not guaranteed that extra $1 unless you do in fact purchase 5 participating items. If you miscount your items, you should still get the full amount of the bogo. Some cashiers/stores will insist on only deducting the $1.99, so be prepared for that.

I went today & used two of bogo coupons + $2 off any one shave gel + $2 off any one shave gel & this was a money maker for me! The cashier typed in what must have been the pre pre mega sale event price of $3.79!
$2×4=$8
– 2 bogo coupons of $3.79 each = $7.58
-$2 off one shave gel x 2 = $4
Total = I made $3.58 on this transaction!
Nobody said one word! & I even tried to tell the cashier she put in the wrong amount, but she insisted that’s the amount on the screen & that’s what she has to put in! Well ok! Wish I had more of those coupons with me then!
Im happy it worked out well for you! thats the exact deal i planned on doing myself, but my experience was awful, maybe next time i’ll go to a different dillons and see how it goes!
i went to dillons today, and have never had any trouble using a BOGO coupon with a cents off, ive even asked if it was ok, and had been told it was fine. today though i go in i put my stuff on the belt and the guy started checking me out and i gave him my stack of coupons while i was putting the rest up, and this CSM ive never seen before grabs my stack and started going through them and grabbed the BOGO voupon and said really loudly you cant do this this is coupon fraud! it was so embaressing ive never been treated like that ever, i wont go back ever again!

Tiffany, it varies by region. Some areas start on Sunday. Mine starts on Monday. If your sale cycle runs Wed-Tue, then that is when your Mega Event will begin.
Do these sales usually start on Mondays? I know I get my krogers ads on Tuesday in the mail and the sale starts the following day.
