My kroger refused to take off the mega price. Only took off 1.64
I got these this morning they were the $1.69 with the $5 on 5 offer. The coupon to get them buy one get one free rung in at $2.49. I have no clue how that works. I thought it would take off $1.69.
I have 2 Krogers within 5 miles of me, one of the stores does the actual presale price but the other one will not. Makes no sense at all 🙂 Thank you for all your hard work putting these lists together for us, it’s appreciated
If my store only allows the $2.69 price instead of the $1.69,I can do better at Walmart at $2.24 each. I just don’t like shopping at Walmart.
My BOGO took off 2.39 from the e-coupon. But, since this product wasn’t ‘counted’ on the receipt as a mega item the deal did not work for me as planned.
Has anyone tried this with the BOGO digital coupon? Just wondering what amount it takes off for it – pre Mega or after.
If I were to use this BOGO coupon, would I need to get 3 or 4 more items to complete my 5? I’m confused on if the free item counts towards the 5 or not…???
Lauryn, if a coupon MAKES the item free it still counts towards your 5 items. 🙂
Now I am confused.Do you mean that if the coupon is BOGO,they won’t use the $1.69 and it will be the $2.69 instead? That doesn’t seem fair to me, since they are being paid back by the manufacturer anyway.
I would try the BOGO if kroger will deduct the premega price but I did caught the cashier did not use the pre mega price when I had a BOGO coupon for different item so that did caught my attention that it may be possible that my cashiers in Columbus may or may not use the pre mega price to deduct when using BOGO coupon so I’ll wait and see 🙂
I know my Columbus Kroger doesn’t allow me to combine BOGO coupon with another coupon so if the price is 1.69 then I’d rather use the .55 coupon alone and get it .59 each instead of using BOGO only and get it for .85 each so I’ll wait and see when I see the new price tags tmw.
