I think that after a huge number of people do the ibotta app on a certain product that the deal disappears after a certain number of uses. Just like coupons from coupons.com disappear after so many people print them. It is frustrating since read about great deal then cannot get it.
Been really mad with ibotta recently with them removing offers even though had loaded befre expired had this one went to store earlier today to get cereal luckly i checked it befre bought them they removed it i was mad they did this to the dannimals couple weeks ago to. Definitly going to email and complain
I loaded the coupon yesterday, and I tried to use it today and the rebate wasn’t there anymore, even though I loaded it before it expired.
The malt o meal offer is not on my Ibotta.

While I was in the store scanning the cereal to see which would work, Ibotta went down. When I brought it back up, the offer for the Malt-O-Meal cereal was gone. I checked “My Offers”. Fortunately, it was still there and I purchased 5 bags. Waiting to see if I get my money back. I should!
Checked today, 6/27, and the cereal/rebate is no longer there 🙁
Yes, Ibotta won’t work on the smaller bags, unfortunately.
Spacey, there’s a $1 Kroger digital coupon that can be loaded and used up to 5 times in one transaction. The bags at my Kroger Central Region were $3.49 yesterday, but were $2.99 today when our new ad started. The $1 digital coupon takes it down to $1.99, and there’s a $2 Ibotta that can be used up to 5 times on 21+ oz bags (only Berry Colossal Crunch and Golden Puffs worked for me). Great deal – 5 bags for free after coupon and Ibotta!
Does each market vary? When I look online it shows 3.49. I don’t see a buy 5 save 5 either.

I bought the mini spooners and it didn’t work. I emailed ibotta and hope to get a response soon!
I stand corrected. I went back today and was able to match Berry Colossal Crunch and Golden Puffs for the $2 Ibotta. The Frosted Mini Spooners are 21 oz so SHOULD work; but I still got no match. Although those are our favorites, I’m not complaining about getting over 100 ounces of cereal for free! Thanks!
My ibotta went through. I bought the sugar puffs and crunch berry.
Make sure you scan the cereal to see if it’s a match. I tried all of the 21 oz.+ bags, and they all came back as no match! 🙁 I contacted Ibotta and hope I get a response in time to take advantage before the Ibotta expires.
Be careful! This only works on bags 21oz or larger! Golden Puffs, Berry Colossal Crunch, and Frosted Mini Spooners seem to be the only ones I see that can be purchased for this rebate.
