Kroger has everything we need for the start of her school year. I can get all of Kambell’s pencils and crayons, plus cute backpacks and lunchboxes!! Did you see the backpack of the Yorkie in glasses? I’m a sucker for a yorkie in glasses. Anyway….I don’t have to sell you on shopping at Kroger, so here’s a list of items I found today plus some coupons to match! After that scroll to the end of the post to see what your local Kroger is doing (and you can help) to support your community. Hopefully your store is participating in this as well.

At checkout, you can spend an extra $6.99 to help children in your area get the school supplies you need. Kroger has made Back to School kits, you may have seen them at the register. Or you may have been asked if you’d like to purchase one for donation! It’s worth a look! Maybe that’s what you saved from using coupons? I know I’ve saved enough throughout the year to give back a little! Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be donating!

It’s not hard to find donation spots around here (WV), since the flooding. I was able to donate cleaning supplies and paper goods to a company who would match all donations…that was excellent! I haven’t found anyone offering to double the school supplies.but I’m still putting together a couple of backpacks to go to the kids who can’t afford it.
