My Kroger deals are based on the ad for Ohio (Great Lakes/Columbus Region), but I try to include regional price differences. The ad week starts on Monday for this region (but check your ad for sale dates). Kroger doubling policies vary from store to store, so the math will reflect up to and including $0.50, and also up to and including $0.99 in { }. If an item is priced 10/$10 (for example), you do not have to purchase 2 items to receive the $1.00 each price unless otherwise noted (like when part of a mega sale). Check your local store for policy. Pricing varies by region, so check your ad for slight discrepancies.

I work at krogers and these coupons will not work. An”error in barcode” message will be given when scanned.
Just a side note – not sure, but many of you in the Ohio/Indiana/PA/MI areas may have a local video store, Family Video in your neighborhood… they take competitor coupons! I mention this because the Orville Redenbacher popcorn often have Redbox codes printed inside… you can use this for a free one night new release rental! Just cut out the code area from the box and take it in, letting them know this is being used as a competitor coupons (they have a special barcode to use for it). It has been a moneymaker for me! I bought at least 20 boxes during the last Mega event (they had MCs at the time) and so I know I spent about .75ea box of 3, and am getting a free rental for each box! A value of $2.47-3.47 each video! I thought some of you may want to do this as well 🙂

Julie, I bet it was the ecoupon that was blocking it. Coupons that have other store logos on them scan just like any other. Hope it works on your 2nd try! 🙂
Has anyone had any luck using the .50/1 Tyson chicken coupon from last week’s paper at Kroger? I tried to use it last night with the Mega Sale ($3.99 after doubling!) and the cashier and manager believed that they could not get it to go through because of the Family Dollar logo on it. Since it is a manufacturer coupon, I did a little research after I got home and saw that I had an eCoupon loaded to my Kroger card (listed on the receipt) that I suspect may have blocked the paper coupon from working. Any ideas? I’d like to go back and try again but it was quite a painful ordeal! Lol. They said it came up as “not allowed.”
