Good thing I double check with customer service to make sure I can use it on the small size before checkout. My digital coupon did not come off. She refund my $18.00 and then her boss told her the coupon were for the Family Size only. I still got my cereal for $0.38 each.

I made a mistake and did the deal once. I bought 4 cereal boxes for $1.6? I want to go back and get 15. I can NEVER find good cereal deals so I would like to finish this one. I don’t want to waste my time or the cashiers time so I want to clear it up before I go to the store.
They really should speak with local customer service about these internet deals. They have loadable coupons and the store doesn’t know what’s going on. That’s not good. As a customer I don’t want to feel like I’m trying to run a scam. I try to follow what the coupon says!

I did but you have to get yellow box in the 18 oz. I pressed the more details on the coupons to confirm size. Good thing if you have already loaded the ecoupon to your card because I just tried to load it on my husband’s card so I could do the deal again and it isn’t showing. So either they are out or took it off for those of us still on the mega sale. Good Luck.

I had a digital coupon for .50 cents off trix that messed mine up so the manager ended up fixing some how which is crazy cause they usually are serious about their coupons

Drats! Something went wrong on my 20-box purchase and I think it was a fifty cent digital coupon that came off one of the boxes. I do not think I loaded that can unless it was an accident to begin with. Probably cannot use two digital cons on the same transaction so it used the lower one? I will go back to the store tonite and see if the will fix. Otherwise, 4 $6 came off, but most boxes were $2.49 mega price.
I got 12 of the family size boxes of cereal. They were 2.49 for the mega sale here in Michigan so the total was 29.88 and then had $18 taken off at register making them 11.88. I also got 10 boxes of fruit rollups for .50 cents each. I also found a bunch of Kroger brand cheese marked down to .99 cents for the blocks and had already loaded the $1 off ecoupon so got 5 of those for free. I threw in the eye shadows, crest kids toothbrushes and the shave gels which were all free too. Awesome!
i went to my local krogers and used mine and my gmas card and got 40 boxes of cereal at .99 a box.. i also loaded the @1.00/1 betty crocker coupon and got 10 boxes of fruit snacks for .50 cents each. i did not clear shelfs as our store had a end cap display with the huge boxes. 1st transaction on card one took off 3 of the 5 coupons… and second card worked just fine. after showing her the reciept she gave me 12.00 back for the two coupons that didnt take off… no arguing.. they all know better..
It’s working in Wichita, KS! I forgot to load the ecoupon before I went to the store, so I did it when I first got there. I was worried that it wouldn’t have had time to reflect on their end, but it went through with no problem when I checked out 15 minutes later!! Thanks for the tip!

I’m in Wichita too and it worked at the 135th and Maple, and the Cental and Maize Dillons! The one at 135th is being VERY difficult with coupons lately which is frustrating!
Got mine! Boxes were roughly .99 a piece! Had to nicely argue with manager and her assistant. It only took 1 of my dig coupons off not 5, she tried to say the digital coupon doesnt go into effect until monday when the mega event is over here. When I pointed out that the one came off she back tracked and tried to say that I didnt have right cereal, showed her list on my phone of available varieties so they gave in and gave it to me. Manager did make a comment about needing to talk to c.s to get that deal shut down.
Same argument I had with the assistant manager. They treat you horrible if you use print coupons, and now they don’t even honor their digital coupons.
I just did twenty boxes. I checked with the manager first to make sure I wouldn’t have any issues. Our prices were higher so I paid approximately $1.00 per box, but most varieties are rarely in our mega sales….so it was a good deal! Only one e-coupon came off so they had to manually override it!
I got my 20 boxes today and had absolutely no problems at all everything went perfect!!!!
I don’t think they have shut it down. I did one transaction on my card and then one on my mother’s card. I had trouble with one coupon coming off on mine but not another coupon. I didn’t have any issues at all on my mom’s card. I think it’s more likely that there are just some kinks in the system since it’s a new promotion. I hope it gets fixed, as I know some managers aren’t as accommodating to helping us couponers as mine were.
t nink…don’t do separate transactions on the cereal deal….it is supposed to be a 5 time use ecpn only in one transaction…if you do 3 sets of 4 cereals…you lose out on the opportunity for the other 2 sets of 4…unless that is all you want to purchase…if you do a separate transaction, for the cereal…it will not generate the ecpn for that one…all must be done in one transaction…. hope that helps 🙂
Thanks so much for the info on cereal. Went to my store in Michigan paid $14.00 for 20 boxes. Coupon did not come off when they scanned my card but I was able to show them on my phone that it was loaded and they fixed my total with no problem. Love the deal.

Does anyone know if it’s a “rule” that you can not use a digital coupon with a mega sales event? I purchased two Kraft singles today and my coupon did not come off of my bill. I’m also bummed because the free Cheetos were part of the Mega event and I counted them in as part of my 5 items, but at the end of my receipt I only had 24 Mega event items, not 25. My friend went to a different store and her Cheetos came off as part of the Mega event and they were free. Bummed that I paid regular price for 4 items. 🙁
When that happens to me, my Kroger lets me bring the receipt and an extra item to the customer service desk and buy the extra item. They then give me the $5 back. I hope your allows that, too!

i just went and got 11 boxes of honey nut cheerios and 9 boxes of cinnamon toast crunch (they were the only ones showed on the ad, so to be safe, i just bought those..i didn’t read this whole post or i may have gotten different kinds, but we like these too) and paid only $19.80…woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!

Just came back from my Kroger and I thought I could take advantage of purchasing 20 boxes but was informed it was only on the BIG G Boxes; not those part of the Mega Event. Needless to say I was totally flabbergasted. The BIG G didn’t have nearly enough variety; so I had to settle for a refund. They were cool for me purchasing 20 boxes. No problem there, it was just the actual size of the boxes. Sucks!
I think they were wrong. My Big G Boxes were part of the mega 5 event. Do they have tags on the shelves? Mine were 1.99 after mega savings. Came out to $.49 box after digital coupon.

I really hope I can find them at my store in Richmond, VA for this price! My son is already back in school and cereal is his go to in the mornings. 20 boxes will last me 20 weeks for easy morning meals!
Just came back from the Kroger in Harrison, OH. It was a HORRIBLE experience. They did not take off ANY digital coupon, if the item was part of the MEGA event. I had to go argue with the customer service counter for 15 minutes. And then they called for back-up, and they just kept arguing, and then the assistant manager came up and he didn’t want to give it to me. After almost 20 minutes of pleading my case, and being humiliated, they took $30 out of the register and handled it to me. AWFUL! I still didn’t get the digital coupon for the Pop Tarts, Kraft Cheese slices, or fruit snacks. That’s another $6 out of my pocket.
I purchased the kraft slices on Friday and the coupon did not come off. The website section to email was down and I called 1 800# and I had to hold for a rep. and it took at least 10 minutes because he kept putting me on hold. I was told at the end of conversation someone would email me in 5-10 days days. I was told they would have to research whatever that means. He saw it loaded on my card and I have a receipt in which I purchased two of the item.
I will head to my Kroger tomorrow to check out the cereal deal. It would be sweet if I can get the boxes for .49 cents each. I am donating all boxes of cereal that I get to the elementary school for their program called back pack buddies. I have donated about 36 boxes and they have 60 kids on the program. Wish me luck : )
Has anyone checked the expiration dates on these yet? I hate to be skeptical but just wondering why the great deal!!
My expiration dates were about a year away. Won’t last that long at my house. LOL
How many ounces is the XL box? Or is it just the largest box? I just browsed Kroger, and there are 3 different sizes of Lucky Charms, and all of them are included in the Mega Sale…
The Lucky Charms I found were over 1 pound sizes and they said Family Size on the top.

(My store’s price was 2.49 also – so not the super duper deal of .49/box, but a great deal even at $1/box – at least imho 🙂 We didn’t have any trouble with all 5 of digital coupons coming off at our store.)
Yea Lauren is right I did the deal too and it only took off the coupon twice for me so I showed management the digital coupon on the site with restrictions on which cereal is apart of it and they played it and gave me the other three. Also, anyone think its strange they show picture of trix, cocoa puffs, and another cereal on the picture for the coupon and yet the cereals in the picture aren’t part of the coupon? What gives?
My store has the Family Size boxes for $2.49, so I scored those for $0.99. However, when I checked out, it only took off 3 coupons even though I purchased 20 boxes. Management was nice enough to fix it for me since the CS hotline is closed on Sunday. I used my $12 in Crystal Light Catalinas, so I actually only paid $7.86 (tax included) for 20 boxes!
Just pay attention to how many times the coupon comes off!

All Kroger are different. I have 2 stores less than 10 miles apart and 1 store will only let me use 3 of the same exact coupon while the other store will let me use 5 of the same. Doesn’t matter if I print it or if it was from the newspaper. I have learned that sometimes I need to spread out my shopping throughout the week just so I can use the coupons if it is a really good sale. I can understand it though since they don’t want “shelf clearers”
I also noticed a super sale coupon for Kroger brand cheese and in my region Kroger cheese is on sale for $1.88 til Tuesday. If the coupon takes $1 off you can get cheese for 88 cents. I plan on trying this tomorrow.
That cheese coupon is for 24 or 32 oz bags. The smaller bags are only 8oz.
There is NO WAY my Kroger will let me buy 20 boxes! They wouldn’t even let be buy 12 Cover Girl Eyeshadows last week!
That doesn’t seem fair if they won’t let you buy 20 boxes at one time. It is their sale and their coupon allowing it to be used up to 5 times in one transaction. I would call ahead of time and speak to one of the managers. My Kroger (smiths) let me buy 12 of the covergirl because it was only use 4 of each of the coupons.
I know. As far as the cover girl, I was told sale items were limited to 8. I will def. try again though!

n addition the stores n my area Louisville, KY act put out to have to honor coupons digital and print that go along with their sales.
